A fathers love

I had found Zy and Zeno having a manic episode in the streets. he was talking abut his god Alpha? and asked me of my allegiance, myself.
 
Apparently Zy had discovered that a big shot was coming to Zynii, from her informants no doubt. Children running around calling her "Aunty Z". She told me this creature was a green elf from noble lands. It piqued my interests to say the least.
 
The three of us decided to go towards the establishment where this aristocrat was supposed to be. I didn't want to get excited at the thought it could be my father, but I let my hopes grow.
 
Zeno had said my last name as more of an insult I'm sure, I was used to the constant jabs. That seemed to intrigue the guards and they told us to wait there. It was my father who was here, I knew it. I needed to see him, I had questions. Why did he ship me off wiht my mother? Why did he never write? Never visit? My mother was dead, did he even know? Did he even care?
 
We followed them to a church, Zy cast an invisibility spell on us which allowed us to infiltrate. They talked about a god called Morvor, I had never heard of this god, but it couldn't be good. Cultists.
 
I followed my father until he was alone, we were face to face. I waited for him to tell me to leave, but instead he embraced me. I was confused to say the least. After all this time, he did care.
 
He told me we must meet to explain everything, but I needed to get my friends out first. I didn't want to leave him alone with cultists. My step mother had tried to get the kingdom of Larion to fall under Morvor's reign, but my father declined. He didn't want an entire nation of Green Elves to only praise one god. It was not our way.
 
I was too late to react, his guard had betrayed him, thrust a knife into his chest.
 
I killed him and the fucking priests, these cultists need to die. Morvor needs to die.
 
I ran towards my fathers body, blood gushing from his wound. He wasn't going to make it. He told me I had to stop them, they were going to overthrow the kingdom. I had to defeat the cult of Morvor. Take my place on the throne of Larion. He told me he always loved my mother and I. Never a day would go by when he didn't think of us. His body went limp in my arms.
