Giants we never saw!

You'd think with a name like Giant, they would be obvious...but we never saw an actual giant. I really wish we had instead of what we did see.
 
Rain rain on my face...hasn't stopped raining for days....you know the rest....
That Orag (?) Orc was wearing Adamantine armor...how did he get his hands on something that advanced. Apparently someone has a hit out for us, b/c that's hat we found inside the Oruk's pack...and the hit purchaser had a good descriptions of all of us, and had a special desc of some half elf! Some people called the Black Network ? We found out once we reached the re-building town and keep of Leon.
But first we had to rescue the rider who came from where we found the giants playthings
We sent him on his way and he warned the more northern farmsteads.
When we got to the place that we did not know was the origin of the rider. Smashed, everything smashed and eerily quiet...where are they...they're supposed to be giants after all. But all we saw was smashed barn and most of a knocked down farmhouse. Oh and then we saw them...not nice little stone balls, like I had imagined from some memory, but huge pieces of jagged stone and rock that must have destroyed the buildings. but silence!
Then...fear, and low pain, and great sorrow. "There's someone alive in there, and they are fragile!'
It was Pearls good idea to take the Mugwarts with us to Leon, so they could be safe...i'm sorry little boy. But it was the best idea...Pearl may be erratic , but she is kind and thoughtful. The elf family left with us and we left a note for the now known
rider. I hope they'll be able to return...with out the unseen giants and also other hungry mouths the thought stealers!
I bettter get changed so as not to garner any Black Network attention Call me Sylthie, wrinkly elf adventurer, wizard?
We found Tusk who seems to be an important council member, Adventure guild chef, and Cleric of Lythander? A half Orc...1 of many who were helpful, not like that Dwarf bar keep with her Gut Buster...we'll see what this town holds?
