Because I'm not sure where to put it
Following in father's footsteps in locksmithing trade, working out of the same old workshop.
 
Parents still kicking , just aged and retired to the traditional gnomish life, in a hovel in the woods. They're Dalaba and Dimble Murnig.
Also have an older sister named Tenena who was struck by wanderlust some 3 decades back, last we heard she was meaning to walk to Pryeacre, is a shame she's probably been eaten by a bear or whatever they've got up there.
 
Part of a general metalworkers guild, there's no non-compete agreement and its primary function is facilitating supply chain. Mary imagines that, given the monarchic society, it would function more as a system of control where a skilled metalworkers cannot get the supplies they need to perform their craft unless they are part of the guild. We'll call it the Royal Society of Metallic Artisans.
 
When times got tough, cut a deal with a group of thieves to break in places using my competitor's (Dwarf woman named Gunnloda Bigtoe) locks in exchange for teaching them how to pick locks and a temporary cut of future profits
That temporary part just ran out and they might be looking to extend it
Gunnloda Bigtoe is also a part of the guild, their workshop is right across the way from mine (within yelling distance) and they are my greatest nemesis .
 
Some 50 years ago tried to be an adventurer armed with the 3 first level spells that I'll take next level. Went with a human named Sanjo Kall that wasn't local to Silverkeep and a dwarf named Delg Eversharp who is from Silverkeep. Sanjo quickly died to a trap and the measure was abandoned after Delg and I could not retrieve the body.
Delg is now an armorer in same metalworkers guild and a lifelong friend
