Gets back to Quarters and schemes how to listen in on the kitchen staff
 
Got shooed out of the kitchen and left iris behind invisibly to do stealth
 
Lots of extra staff were hired
 
Using find familiar to eavesdrop and get gossip
 
Gossip attained:

HR Asked staff if they were affiliated with summer, guard has been saying Geralt is in a terrible mood from all the striking and that he’s being suspicious

Recently Geralt received an interesting gift from the land of mist- automatons; life size marionette type things? Got info from the official guard that hang out in his special places

Asked Wilbur his plans and how he felt about Geralt
 
Wilbur is here to pick up an artifact for the university (Wilbur’s grandmother is the headmistress) and his (Geralt) temper is worrying the land of spring
 
Laverna asks Geralt how he’s feeling and he says heaviest head wears the crown talking about the strikes and the harsh winters, he thinks the strikes are about people not being paid enough
 
Laverna asks Geralt about summer
-has issues with summers comments of his rulings and putting limitations on their trading
 
Gossip about the rep of autumn (hiroshi otchiba) being the boy toy of a “lady caitlyn, lord of autumn”
 
Laverna and Hiroshi speak and discuss matters of kingdom states, in particular autumn dealing with quite a bit of a crime problem at the moment and bandits
 
Leader from the lands of Mists does not want to be here, he also has problems with gangs, but is also potentially working with them.
 
He talked about the gangs demands being ridiculous but that what they brought in was quite worth it.
 
Lord of swamps rep walks and explains that the lady of swamps couldn’t attend because of her age (a teenager) and because the journey is long
 
Wilbur’s book is semi sentient and hopes to pick up another one like it (perhaps that’s what the artifact is)
 
laverna refills wine glass and listens in (Rep swamps referring to lord of swamps)
 
Lady of mists “The lady of springs is odd she sent that little dragon thing no but seriously where is she is there possibly a reason she isn’t here herself, worse yet do you think she picked a side - do you think she’s all buddy buddy with Sol (land of summer) and that’s why she’s not here in person. “
 
Ryoshi “Last I heard she’s in correspondence with spring we have regular visits she’s new to the job I attempt to advise but it’s better for her to speak to another lord who also has similar responsibilities”
 
Lady of mists looks disgruntled because she was wrong
 
Laverna turns around and introduces herself to the lord and lady of mists And asks how they’re doing the lady says her husband is a child
 
She asks about the automatons and the lady of mists says they weren’t a gift from the royal family but they look like we’re made by an artisan from their kingdom
 
Potential Theories:

Automaton could be influencing Geralt in a way?? Not likely but maybe, investigate automaton

If the royals didn’t send the bots who did?
