The Fight Approaches! (and other news)
Yesterday was somewhat successful. After signing up to the fight I went down to the hospices, worked for the evening, got given a donation of 5 silver, offered 3 to a shrine of the gambler, to encourage folks to surpass the evil habit. Today, went for a stroll, found a bookshop! A couple of useful tomes I found there, one on swamp diseases, one on odd remedies and obscure illnesses, one an omnibus of sources on all medical research. Quite useful, but a fairly steep 33gp. I decided I'd give them a peruse and come back for them later after my fight. Medical tomes are, after all, very useful. Made my way down to the beachside, had a most pleasant day of treating the sick, and donated all my earnings but what i need for room and board to the church of the dreamer. The next day, made my way towards the fight, heading through Bakers' Square.
