Dulrak

by Dulrak Spickmoar

Crazed looking, ragged Dwarf. Traditional appear: Unkempt, ragged and smelly. Beard well kept however with streaks of rusty colour (upon closer inspection it becomes clear to onlookers that those streaks are actually dried blood of various sources, incl. Dulrak himself).

He wears Black spiked armour, which he hardly ever takes off, not even to clean (other than the joints that are kept impeccably well maintained), some of the spikes still contain leftovers of his last kills.

Dulrak grew up as one of four children of a blacksmith in the Mountain town of Valham Dens in Kunec. His Father is known for good quality work of weird, seemingly unpractical designs, his mother is a seamstress. He learned his fathers craft early on and is still quite proficient with hammer and anvil. He lived in the better situated area of the town, not deep down with the rich people, but also not on the very outskirts with the poor. Just good old middle class, backbone of society.

Never the smartest, when his family was robbed, Dul took up what was left of his fathers old ragged and jagged armour (it looked too shabby to even be worth stealing), put it on, and in a fit of rage attacked the police, who was investigating but in his eyes not really doing anything. Since he didn't have any weapons he threw himself at the policemen and threw punches at everyone and everything around him, however as it turned out the jagged edges of the armour did just as much damage as his fists.

After that incident and because of his social standing and his seeming lack of mental capacity, Dulrak was not too severely punished, only banished to exile for 10 years. In these ten years he travelled around and took jobs as a mercenary. While travelling he had to provide himself with food, so he started to learn how to "cook". Due to his exclusive and exquisite cooking skills he developed a little bit of a resilience against poisons of all kinds. Namely because he keeps poisoning himself with his cooking.

He also follows orders to the letter (mostly) up until the point where they involve attacking someone or something, that is when everything about (the) order is forgotten.
