Daylight, I Have Missed You So

Thank the gods we're out of that dreadful cave! It just had to be a cave filled with spider loving folk that refused our departure for days. Why is it where ever I go, people get so fussy when I sit on top of roofs just to be on my own? The towns guard like everywhere else, demanded I stay on the ground. We were underground! I can't get much more on the ground than that. Besides, the cavern wasn't large enough where I could fly around to get away from those damn, dirty web spitting arachnids. Alas, we are finally out of that hell scape. I've never felt so happy to feel air flowing through my feathers and fly in the open sky once more. Despite this lovely excursion, we learned that there are greater powers at play than we once thought, our history is much deeper than any of us knew. I... I cannot write what I saw on that mural, darned blood oath.
