The Commission Hall

by Albus Khan

After retrieving the power cells, Kaylon'tar, Ozar of Sol and Chronos reported their successful mission back at the Commission Hall, including the mysterous sixth heavier cell, that the Commissioner's obviously had prior knowledge of, but let slip little fact upon. Voicing their concerns in regards to Rka'Lin, whom they discovered was tasked by the supposed defunct Council, of which the Commission Members purported were nonexistent or at least no one had had contact with for some time and considerations were underway to form a new council.

During the debriefing a council guard entered and whispered to the Abril Commissioner. Chronos, due to requirements of the Time Master's is trained to read lips. This training is helpful in seeing event in the past or future when using the Distortion Device to Time Walk, that gains the Time Master additional knowledge of events. In this case Chronos was able to read the lips of the Commission Guard and learned that the "Energy Cells" where being stored below the Commission Hall. Although the information at the time seemed of little use, unless they as a group or individually wanted to risk searching below the Hall, which they discussed and decided might be viewed detrimentally by their new employers.

Accommodations offered by the Commission were accepted and the three split up to retire, recover and meet the following morning. Not quite ready to retire Chronos found the Commission Hall of Records and searched for clues that might aid him in his quest to prevent Sols destruction. Chronos came across a restricted vault in the hall of records and reaching into his pocket discovered an access card which had previously not been in his possession. This being a handy trick, he himself from the future had slipped into his clothes unbeknownst to his present timeline self. Inside the restricted vault he discovered information on Dark Tombs which he found interesting and suspected might be what was in the sixth heavier and more desired Energy Cell. No account of the exact use of a Dark Tomb was available, although he suspects it may have some nefarious connection to the Thraum.

Not wanting to push his luck, he exited the Hall of Records and to report his findings to Kaylon'tar and Ozar of Sol instead of retiring for the night.
