Weaving together the threads of fate

Once we returned to the Ironwood Shore and fulfilled our duty, we finally had a moment to catch our breath.

Artemis disappeared and went off somewhere without saying a word. I do not question her choices, I just value those who follow me to achieve my goal more than those whom do not.

Once we headed into town, I was set to find a potion merchant. The purpose - poison. Peppermint followed me along, it seems like they had business to do for themselves as well.
Inside the potion shop, we found a large assortment of radiant and colorful potions that swirled around in their individually shaped flasks. As I stepped forward towards the counter and looked down, I met the shop keep who was named Lillian. After exchanging coin, I got the tools I needed to do alchemy of my own. As well as information on where I can extract poison from a species of giant wasp nearby.

Peppermint was able to purchase some potions, after which, they began acting very oddly. It does not seem like Peppermint is well versed with speaking or understanding others as well as other races. However, I learned to value this companion with their dedication to help achieve my goals.

Peppermint and I went to seek council with the Arch-druid of the Ironwood Shore. It was very quickly apparent that we interrupted a conversation between one of their allies and was not taken well. After meeting eye-to-eye after seeing that we were all looking for the same thing, we were able to establish an alliance and a plan to pursue our goals of ridding the land of these orcs.

I was not fully content that they will be drafting a good part of the refugees that the druids have saved as I am not keen to forceful work. However, all is fair in war. I will agree and pursue my agenda to help those whom lost their land and livelyhood, all while spreading my renown across this land.

Prior to heading back to the group of adventurers that are with me, I stopped by to give my farewell to Lillian and thank her for her assistance. I helped her out in her shop, as I knew that because of this time of war the people of this town are preparing for the upcoming battles. Afterwards, she extended her assistance towards me and I know I have a place I can make some coin if anything were to happen.

We reached the hill where we found many wasps. With the assistance of Navere's magic and Kailey's axe, we made good work of them all. I was able to get several flasks of their poison and I feel like we are now properly prepared for what comes ahead.

Dearest Mother, as I tread down this path I will take the training you have bestowed upon me and conquer any and all insecurities. I look forward to the day we meet once again.
