The beginning of a very unexpected journey

Well today was interesting...
I was called in again by the Shadow for contracted work, they want me to assist a group known as 'The Unlikely Lot', can't say I'm particularly looking forward to it. As much as I try to avoid dumb brutes that like to swing their swords instead of using their brains, it seems like I will have to work with one for the foreseeable future, they call him Garan, and he seems to have an incredibly fascination with Dragons, maybe he has some useful information I can use in my research? Unlikely but worth a shot. The rest of them seem more normal at least, although some of them are more on the emotional side, they seem to be grieving the recent loss of a friend of theirs, some religious fanatic I gather, seems futile to have such emotion way upon ones mind, just the nature of less cognitively able beings I suppose.
