Dear Mama Sue and Papa George,
 
Hi. It’s me. Ally. I’m just writing to let you know I’m safe, for now. Misty is fine. I know you were worried about her coming along with me for this journey but she’s more powerful and strong than you think.
 
I know you don’t all approve of my marriage to Antson. I know it’s not a common marriage arrangement. But I can’t help how I feel. He’s keeping me safe. At least you should be thankful for that, right?
 
I made some good friends here. Pai has more energy than I ever thought possible. They have a positive mindset and outlook which we need here. They try to see the best in everyone. Mari is strong and a warrior. Protects her nephew with all she has- and he in return protects her. We met a few others along the way but they didn’t stay with us. I can’t blame them.
 
I hope everyone is well. Please tell my sister Abby I miss her.
