Personal history
*during the first 13 years of Veetch’s life, he found himself working as a spy for a crime syndicate Named The Mourning Witness. They not only promised that they were working to change a corrupt system, but also gave him an actual home, however after learning their true nature he unceremoniously separated himself from them.
*for the next 3 or so years he had no idea what his constant wandering of the Deep South would entail, but that all changed when he met and subsequently began traveling with another of his kind named Shif, During this meeting Veetch decided that it would be his mission to find more of The Drab and finally make a centralized community.
*Veetch and shif traveled the deep south together for 7 years. Not only traversing the lower half of the deep south, but the upper portion as well.
*4 years ago shif and Veetch went separate ways but promised to write each other.
* About 2 months ago, Veetch lost contact with shif and upon further investigation discovered that he’d been missing for almost half a year. Veetch has no idea if this has something to do with The Mourning Witness, however some evidence he has gathered points to that being the case.
But why would they want to do that?
Education
Most of what Veetch has learned has either been from word of mouth or from things the Mourning Witness taught him, despite this he is actually quite knowledgeable in a variety of subjects.
Employment
When Veetch was a member of The Mourning Witness, he acted mostly as a spy, however now he works as a mercenary for hire, or he did before Shif went missing.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Veetch’s most recent accomplishment was assisting in taking down a local weapon smuggling ring as a mercenary. While the accomplishment may not seem like much to an outsider, Veetch believes that this was the beginning of him making up for helping The Mourning Witness.
Failures & Embarrassments
Veetch regrets his time working for the Mourning witness, so much so he has removed any evidence of that time from his body. The most notable change that had to be done was the symbol of the Mourning Witness plastered on his cloak, now all that remains is the bottom of the eye and its teardrop.
Mental Trauma
Veetch's last job as a member of The Mourning Witness involved him tracking down a shipment of Weaponry being transported on a passenger train. After reporting the necessary information back to The Higher-ups of the syndicate, they deemed it high time for Veetch to finally see the fruits of his labors. The next night, he and 17 other members of the Mourning Witness boarded the train and snuck their way along the roofs to the cars that were where their prize was stored. Unfortunately they had been discovered and a shootout began, as the fight neared it's close a barrel of gunpowder had been ignited and subsequently started a fire. As the raging fire spread it threatened to consume the passenger cars, upon suggesting they should focus on detaching the passenger cars, the higher up that had been assigned to this heist gave the order to retreat.
Upon returning to their base at the time, Veetch found that they were throwing a celebration for a “Successful mission” and was even congratulated on his contribution to destroying the train. It was then Veetch realized that he hadn't been working for a resistance fighting for its people, but an organization dedicated solely to itself.
Disillusioned with the cause; Veetch Resigned from the Mourning Witness the next day, however before he left he was informed that he would regret this action.

Savvies & Ineptitudes
Veetch is hilariously gullible, and will always accept any and all information given to him without any scrutiny unless he has specifically seen something to the contrary. Veetch's ability to socialize is also very unique to say the least, almost like he's an alien who saw seven rom-com's and just figured that's how our society functioned.
Veetch is very stealthy, an attribute that made him perfect as a spy for The Mourning Witness. He's also very talented in a combat situation.

Virtues & Personality perks
I’m very soft-spoken and gentle. I will sometimes freeze when there is a critical decision to be made. I am quite fond of people, despite how often I’m away from them. I know a little about everyone I meet, as I’m naturally curious.
Vices & Personality flaws
Many people claim I’m extremely gullible due to my lack of understanding how a “normal” social structure works. My focus on finding Shif often blinds me to anything else. I’m deathly afraid of fire. I’m trusting… too trusting, and i refuse to imagine that anyone might betray me, not even those i've abandoned.
Personality Quirks
Veetch tends to take everything told to him as fact and will often scribble any new information he learns in his journal, but due to his gullible nature, the majority of the contents are clearly fake. While sitting down, Veetch frequently places his hands over one another, he admits to not knowing why he does this himself. Whenever Veetch experiences any form of strong emotion, his body starts to "Unfurl" and gives the appearance that his form is billowing in a weak breeze.
Hygiene
While Veech's body doesn't require much upkeep when it comes to hygiene, he does need to carry items that ward off creatures that want him for a tasty snack. Of course, these items create a lot of smells.
In short, he smells of mothballs, lavender, thyme, mint, rosemary, and cedar.
