Personal history

I was born to a fair breed of people; a family which could boast of intellect and achievement, but would never do so, not even in the privacy of their own thoughts. In this, I was different. My family had been poor for a large portion of my life, earning a decent salary (and a fair amount of debt) after an impressive, unassisted ascent through college. However, they were still troubled by their friends and extended family who had long solidified a false image us being fools. Still, I watched in awe as they accepted the backhanded comments, cursing myself for being shallow and unable to forgive so easily.
My parents died in a car accident when I was sixteen. My siblings found a home, but no one would accept me. Rather, I would accept no one.
