Personal history
Born (and given the name Avkesh) in Adar, Sarlona to sheshantol or 'shadow watcher' parents (young Kalashtar that believe strong action needs to be taken against the encroaching evil of the Inspired) named Avkalaq and Akeshimat.
Lost to Nowhere, Breland when his father was ambushed, killed, and ejected via portal into Khorvaire while carrying baby Zeke in a papoose.
Passed around Nowhere's townspeople but largely left to his own devices until the age of 12, when he was taken in by the Boles family (Anna and Evelyn) to work their orange orchards.
Fell in love with Evelyn and had plans to elope with her to Sharn (where she had ambitions of becoming a conjuror) when she fell suddenly ill with a violent fever and died--had his first Quori Meltdown.
Went silent for almost nine months, was encouraged by Anna to join the military to work through his grief and perhaps to be rid of a reminder of her daughter's future.
Fought in the military as a battle smith for 12 years, met Gabriel, Shanti, Orran, Gil, and Yanci amongst others, lost his left arm to an explosive spell that killed many of his companions.
Traveled to Newthrone two years later after the fighting as it was nearby and he had nowhere to go...was in a dark place and contemplated ending things before deciding on patience and finding the person he used to be through diligent self-discipline.
Got a job as a chef and fix-it man for a local crime lord--who he thought was just a connected businessman.
Joined the adventuring party of Rune, Suzu, and Oceanus and found himself again.
Lost Suzu and gained Leilani.
Traveled to Saltmarsh, the Skull Dunes, and eventually Korth, where an assassination attempt on his person led him to discover that he was a Kalashtar.
Gradually losing sense of self and sanity, is currently seeking to rectify that.
