From a young age, Andra always felt like she was destined for something more. Frequent dreams of distant lands, from rolling fields to crowded cities to mountains with peaks disappearing into the clouds, only to wake and find herself still in Longsaddle.
The dreams got more frequent, eventually nightly, until one night. Her most vivid dream. A clear voice, telling her it was time. That she's destined for great things, that she must leave home to achieve this destiny. She awoke to find her hair turned white and her skin paled.
She ran away from home, following dreams and visions across the sword coast, completing many quests along the way. One night she got the message that she was finally ready. She must head to Baldurs gate, and eventually Avernus.
Along the way she spotted a cart being robbed by bandits. Knowing her capabilities she wanted to stop and help, but her guide told her to keep going to Baldur's gate. She tried to cut through the woods to get around them, but paused to listen to the encounter.
Hearing a woman's voice begging, children terrified, and a man groaning in pain, she couldn't help herself. She sprouted glowing wings from her back and flew out of the woods, stabbing one of the bandits right in the chest.
Another bandit darted in with a dagger, which she parried and countered, cutting his arm, only to get slashed across the cheek by a third bandit. She stumbled back, putting herself between the bandits and the travelers, flaring her radiant wings and twirling her sword.
Suddenly, she doubled over in pain as she got a searing pain in her upper back, her wings fading from view. One of the bandits took this opportunity to kick her to the ground and put a sword to her throat, before being stopped by another bandit, a female tiefling.
"Wait." The tiefling stepped forward "Let's keep her. Besides, being that good with a sword, we need someone to replace Fe'dar." She said, gesturing to the the dead bandit and pulling Andra to her feet by her collar.
Andra spat on the ground, wiping blood from the cut on her cheek. "Why would I ever join you?" she retorted, the third bandit speaking up "See? Let's kill her, rob them, and move on!"
"No, i've got a feeling about this one, she'll come around eventually." The tiefling put a firm hand on Andra's shoulder "Ugh, fine." The bandit said begrudgingly as he pulled out a dagger and whacked Andra on the head with the pommel, knocking her unconscious
