Personal history

Than’dul was born as the youngest of six children and the only male born to his family. As such he was not given any respect by his siblings nor his mother, all of them seeing him as little more than a pet for them to taunt and harass. His father was never present and he never knew the man. Not that the knowledge of who he was would do him any good. Despite the harshness of his mother and the torment of his siblings, Than'dul did not have the cruel heart of his Dark Elf brethren. 
 
As the years went by, he secretly doubted the teachings of Lloth. He wasn’t fully sure why he didn’t agree with them, but they never sounded right. Often beaten for his soft heart.
 
Growing in the ranks as an average soldier, he was taken on his first raid to the surface. They attacked a seemingly innocent caravan. As the raiding party was slaughtering the rest of the caravan, he found a trio of high elf women huddled in one of the carts, along with their elven guard.
 
He quickly got the women and their guard out of the area. Finding out that they are the daughters of a noble house. Over the next month he traveled with these women to get them back to a safe place. During that time the eldest sister, Elmyra, and Than’dul began to fall in love. She even gave him a signet ring of her family.
 
When they finally found the base of operations, the raiding party found them. Than’dul drew his sword against his brethren and held them off until the women made it to the guards.
 
Than’dul was captured and imprisoned where he met his future father figure. He taught Than’dul about Eilistraee and choosing to follow her. After a few years they managed to escape. However, his father figure was captured and burned at the stake. Than’dul was forced to give him mercy and kill him with an arrow. The three individuals that that are responsible for murdering him are on his list to kill.
 
 
 
Targets
 
Callimar Hune - Often a harasser of Than’Dul when they were in training. Currently a Lieutenant under T’risvra and a master of Magic. His anger at Than’Dul stems from his desire to have T’risvra though her attentions were elsewhere.
 
Berg'drym Lhalagon - Another Lieutenant of T’risvra. He was mainly a second hand of Callimar in bullying him. Where Callimar’s anger stemmed from his desire for T’risvra, Berg’drym’s comes from his sadistic nature. This comes with his use of a special whip of bone.
 
T'risvra Duskral - T’risvra was from a well known Drow family. She excelled in her studies and set her sights on Than’Dul for his prowess with the rapier. In her eyes, he was an excellent choice to make strong offspring. She took Than’Dul’s betrayal very personal. (It was her idea to set his surrogate father to burn at the stake. ) At the time they knew each other, Than’Dul was not quite of proper age. (They were set to bond after Than’Dul returned from his first raid as was agreed by T’risvra and Than’Dul’s mother.) Due to this he spent a good deal of time with T’risvra as her means of putting a claim to him and keeping other female drow at bay. Once he betrayed them, she carried a seething hatred for Than’Dul and seeks after the woman he fell in love with as much as he does. Her fighting style includes a special pull toward disarming her opponents before killing them.
