Personal history

Yenavor is one of the unfortunate Aarakocra whose nest falls from the Elemental Plane. Yenavor survived the fall; her siblings were not so lucky.
 
Too young to remember these events, Yenavor was stumbled upon by a human couple, Hoi and Che Prideflayer. Hoi and Che were professional thieves living in Mirabar, and saw the young Aarakocra as a potential asset to their organisation, the Jacuzzi.
 
Like all her kind, the young Yenavor proved a quick study and was soon pickpocketing, hustling and heisting on behalf of her "parents". She had her fair share of friendships and rivalries with her "siblings", but her best friend and biggest rival (irony intended) was the halfling Valos.
Yenavor's wings were both a mystery and a great asset. She was able to approach theft from unique angles that her "siblings" couldn't hope to match - but why she looked like she did and whether she was unique in the world was a mystery to her.
 
As Yenavor neared maturity, a strange yearning came over her; with so much world to see why was she wasting her time in Mirabar when there was a whole world to see? With her unique talents, Yenavor was easily able to plot her escape. Taking the tools of her trade she took to the sky. The nearby mountains screamed freedom and so without a second thought Yenavor headed on to her destiny, leaving Hoi and Che seething at their lost asset.
