A slave from birth, I was sold through various people until eventually I came to be owned by a mid-tier member of the Empire. He had me aid him in his research, even if he would not give me my freedom. We worked together for some time, and I grew to admire the man. But unbeknownst to me, he got on the bad side of the empire. One night, agents broke in to his residence. He told me to hide, as I watched him get dragged out of the place. they then found me, and took me to prison too. There, I was tortured for information, I didn't have. In the darkness, something called out, with an offer to break my bonds. I accepted, and blasted my way out, and have essentially been on the run since, looking for a way to find out what happened to my master, and make those responsible pay. Wielding my gifts, I have successfully adopted the name Vesi, and have blended in pretending to be a Qoynish commoner.
