Physical Description

Harvik is well built, years of training, fighting and travel working his body into a well oiled machine.

Body Features

A couple things are fairly noticeable when you look at Harvik, one is his fairly hirsute nature. The other are his arms; scarred & seemingly made of hard iron from his long years of swinging a sword.

Facial Features

Harvik sports a once well-kempt beard, though now it is interrupted in several places by a series of large scars he's gained while in the Underdark.

Identifying Characteristics

Harvik is often recognized by his piercing blue eyes. A deep azure, reminiscent of Maer Dualdon

Physical quirks

Harvik is exclusively lefthanded. As well as this, even though he is already decently hirsute, his arms especially, are hairy.

Apparel & Accessories

Harvik's clothes, once a deep blue, are now stained with blood, sweat & the dirt of travelling. On top of this he wears well-made, but simple scale armor.

Special abilities

Aside from his abilities as a paladin, Harvik possesses no special abilities, other than an largely ingrained stubborn streak.

Mentality

Personal history

Harvik's life was one of travel & adventure, even before he was an adventurer himself, as his parents work for the Church of Tyr took them all across the Sword Coast. Most of his childhood days were spent tailing his father Georg, a well known & well worn Tyric Paladin. Always the showman, Georg took this to heart, determined to lead his son to a life of glory in service to Tyr. In time however, as Harvik grew, he started to chafe under the ever watching eyes of his father, and returned to his hometown of Neverwinter to join up with the King's Army, determined to find his own path to glory. Despite leaving the family, Harvik never lost contact with his sister, with whom he was always close. Often they sought to visit one another, sending letters when this was impossible. As Harvik's tenure in the army of Lord Neverember wore on however, he became increasingly jaded with his lot as a soldier. The bloodshed, the death, the immorality of both sides. It was all too much. Time for a change, he left the army after nine years of honorable service, seeking out his family once more. It was there, after a challenge by his father, that Harvik started on his true path as a Paladin of Tyr.

Education

Being raised by members of Tyr's clergy; Harvik was educated in matters of religion, speechcraft & the reading of people. He was also educated in matters of war by both his parents, and his commanders in the Neverwinter Army

Employment

For the last 9 years Harvik has been in the Army's of Lord Neverember of Neverwinter. For the last several of them he was a distinguished officer. Recently he has left that life to pursue a life of Justice & piety as a Paladin of Tyr

Accomplishments & Achievements

Harvik has survived, & even thrived as a soldier of Neverwinter, a rather large achievement in itself given the City's history the past decade. As well as that, his acceptance by Tyr, in the belly of the Underdark, as a full paladin under his service, is one of the proudest moments of his life.

Failures & Embarrassments

Harvik will forever blame himself for his father's death, he could've been stronger, faster, better. Anything to save the hero that was his father. Harvik is embarrassingly terrible with children, at least humanoid ones. Baby monsters are fine, they're like puppies right? Albeit ones that can melt your face. Human babies though? What do you even do with them? Harvik may never know.

Mental Trauma

Harvik is terrified of losing those he considers family. Between life as a soldier & his father, he doesn't deal well with the loss of his loved ones.

Intellectual Characteristics

Harvik has a profound trust in the virtues of reason & fair mindedness, believing that is the truest way to justice. Coupled with his peerless perseverance this can make for a dangerous combination, both for himself & others.

Even though they share no blood, He considers all of his travelling companions part of his family. He considers himself especially close to Eldeth & Estdrada.
