Mordeki has often been gifted at the forge leading many to suspect he was a favored of Eitri. He was initiated into the Brotherhood of Eitri and provided much training as a Cleric. As he focused on forging works of beauty, the Great War broke out. As the enemy pushed into the Dwarven Kingdom, Moredki was assigned to the forges to make as many weapons as would be needed to help face off extinction. After many month toiling long hours at the Forge, the threat was beaten, but at a huge cost. Many lives lost and many artifacts were stolen or laid buried in blood soaked battle fields. Mordeki was left with a choice, continue at the forge or undertake a Holy mission to recover the stolen and lost artifacts. Due to the heavy losses sustained by the Dwarves and the need to rebuild he would be on a solo mission to recover as many items as possible. Mordeki knew that there may be aid outside the clan as he had studied a short while with some Elvish smiths and learned that skill is not tied to a particular race. He signed up as part of a construction crew on a profitable job to build a tower near a human town called Raider's Point. He would then start his search from there.
