Cactus Flower, born Laura Campos, was born and raised in the nation of Galda. After an unstable childhood, she fell in with a wild crowd of partiers and wild magic users where she met the Djinn who would father her child. A relationship based on fun and adventure did not survive the birth of her child and despite his promises to settle down with her, he left leaving only a single box and letter as apology. She never opened it and vowed to make it on her own, but this proved a struggle and it wasn't until her child's music teacher introduced her to the Commune of Desert's Promise did she find a community to support her and allow her to heal. She renamed herself Cactus Flower and her daughter Breeze and became part of the polyamorous and naturalistic culture of her commune. Her daughter ended up becoming a successful bard and adventurer, a Hero of Manadh. Despite Cactus Flower's pride and happiness with her family, she felt the pangs of what she gave up, her own dreams cut short by the responsibilities of being a young single mother. Now she seeks to rekindle that adventure fancing herself her a bard and telling herself she is out to keep her adoptive daughter Arderia safe. She has kissed her partners farewell for now and struck out for opportunities unknown.
