Personal history
In the Year 50, the Aasimar race virtually imploded on itself. The main religious sect, The Order of Holy Light, believed the Aasimar people were superior to all races with extreme prejudice towards humans and elves. Believing the humans to be primitive as if they were failed creations in the attempt of creating Aasimar, the High Prophet Abel began plans to commit mass genocide. Concurrently, Lord General Ploth began preparations to set forests aflame to deal a crippling blow to the elves which were seen as a cowardly race. Dissenters lead by Major Dillon revolted, they would come to be referred to as The Phreal. The first act of defiance was to destroy caches of oil stored by Ploth, this caused a massive fire within their own city killing thousands in The Order of Holy Light. Thus, a civil war sparked.
In the Year 88, Raeth was born to the current Phreal leader Relliah. When Raeth reached the age of 3, assassins sent by The Order stole him from the encampment in order to be used for political leverage. Although the assassins were intercepted, they branded Raeth with The Orders sigil forever marking him with a symbol synonymous with superiority and hate.
In the Year 105 the final battle of the civil war occurred near a great mountain. During this time Raeth acted as a soldier for his first battle. During the battle, The Order was clearly outmatched and stood in the face of defeat. In their most desperate hour Abel prayed to a new unknown god resulting in a strange empowerment of his forces. Although The Order eventually lost the fight with the death of Abel, the Phreal survivors faced heavy losses. As Relliah lay bleeding out from wounds received from the grotesque abomination that became of Abel, she gifted her son an amulet of what would become the new Aasimar sigil. While the Aasimar climbed the mountain to create a new civilization founded on the principals of equality, Raeth decided to roam the world in order to learn of the races his mother died for.
