Personal history
- Grew up in an overall normal childhood/teenage years.
- They were also an active individual.
- Exploring the nearby forest.
- Lots of climbing trees or tall rocks.
- They found within themself an urge to help out people whenever they could, especially if
it involved lifting or moving heavy stuff. - Their mother and father trained him in basic survival techniques for the wild.
- They also remember the arrival of who later became their sister, then following that by
some time their little brother. - They set out on their own when it came time for his trip to Tivr.
- it was the first time they had left their island.
- They found the trip across the sea exhilarating, filled with new sights, sounds,
and smells. - They made their way past Nim Tower.
- It was a grand structure, far different than the village they were used to.
- They remember making their way north, passing through Orncoa.
- They were amused the town name ended the same as their own hometown.
- They also vividly remember seeing Chonta in the distance.
- There was a sense of dread when looking at it.
- There was another sense, at the time they couldn’t quite place. Something that
was stirring within themselves. - Maybe it was just being on the edge of the Sacred Forest, being so close to their
time to go through their own trials. - There was an encounter at the edge of the forest.
- They spotted a shadowy figure in the distance.
- At first they thought it was just a trick of the light, or the forest was already testing
them. - However, it seemed too solid. It seemed aware, as if it was staring directly at him.
- They were unnerved by it, but also curious.
- When they reached out to it, it reached back.
- When contact was made, there was a shiver that ran through their entire body,
they blinked. - Suddenly, they found themselves in both the same place, and a different one at
the same time. - Everything seemed to be there, but it was twisted, darker. The trees were gnarled
in ways they’d never seen before. The air itself was heavy. All of the shadows
were deeper than they’d ever experienced. - The shadow figure itself was some distance off, but seemed to grow.
- Towering over Savaeris, becoming more and more menacing.
- Then just as soon as it all came, it was gone. They were back in the forest.
Everything was the normal vivid green, the trees were healthy. The air was rich
and pleasant. - They didn’t encounter any of those creatures the rest of the way through the
forest, but it left an impression on them to this day. - They started to have regular dreams involving the night sky, glittering so brightly,
or dreams regarding different phases of the moon. - Arriving in Tivr was an experience in itself.
- It was bustling, thriving. So full of life and excitement.
- There was such a mix of different types of elves.
- Plus new food, new people, and new experiences throughout to have.
- But they were there for a purpose, to make their way into the forest to make their
way through the transformation. - After the initial ceremony, which involves several others who were making their way into
the forest for their own trials, they made their way in. - For the first several days, it was mostly a lot of wandering around.
- Contemplating, resting when necessary, and trying to call out to the Iterla to
guide the way. - They started as a group, but one by one, each person seemed to find their own
way. - For Savaeris, they made their way up into the boughs of a few trees to get a
better look. - At first it didn’t really help.
- But they tried again and again, hoping to spot the tree, some tree that didn’t look
the same as the rest of them. It had to be a special tree, right? - They had heard the stories of others trials, told only vaguely, but
seemingly describing different experiences. - There came a time, when they swear they caught the glimpse of a comely
woman. Though unlike other elves, her skin was the richest wood pattern they
had ever seen. Their hair, made of vibrant ivy that cascaded down their back. - Just as soon as they appeared, they were gone.
- It was something though, so they headed that direction.
- Just out of the corner of their eye, they kept seeing this figure.
- Until finally, when they turned around, they were facing the most massive tree
they had ever seen. - It was majestic, imposing, and beautiful all at the same time.
- They were lost in a sense of awe, and a seemingly involuntary urge to
move towards it. - As they approached the tree, they felt something. A sense of purpose, a
sense of completion. - Their hand shot out, making contact with the tree. Then their vision shifted.
- They saw flashes of fire erupting from the earth.
- They saw many elves fighting back against something, something hidden
in darkness. - They saw several fall, but through their sacrifice, opposite the fire,
something emerged from the earth. - The same type of figures they had seen on their way to Iterla.
- Though much varied in how they looked, with different hues of
their skin, and hair adorned with vibrant flora. - They found themselves amongst the elves. There, in the moment. All
around them, fierce fighting took place, amongst shadowy figures and the
elves keeping them at bay. - They didn’t know what to do. They felt something, something deep.
Calling them to fight. - There was a moment of hesitation, until they saw one of those dark
figures about to strike an elf, one of their kin. - They grabbed the first thing they could, swinging out wildly.
- The weapon they grabbed connected, as the figure turned to
them. - It batted the weapon aside, as it continued to approach.
- That feeling deep, welled up deep inside of them, as they lashed out
again and again. Pushing it back. Sometimes struggling. - At a point, they were exhausted, almost unable to keep fighting.
- The weapon was knocked from their hands. All hope seemed lost.
- But then the other elves, and those figures made of wood joined
in. Coming to their aid, and together, they pushed back the figure,
banishing it back. - A moment of peace existed amongst the fighting, fire, and smoke. As the
other elves looked at them, with pride. - One of the figures, the same one they had kept seeing helped them to
their feet, and embraced them. - A flash of green light flooded their vision, as they found themselves,
waking from a curled position next to the massive tree. - They felt different. Heartier, stronger, even taller.
- Even noticing a certain, definition, they knew was part of the men in their
village. - He somehow knew he was Tegere.
- His trek back out of the forest was clear. The path straightforward, as if he had
walked it many times before. - Upon leaving, those officiating the ceremony embraced him, and clothed him.
Welcoming him as having passed his trials, and now having embraced a Yentu.
learning from fellow Yentu, he made his way back to Forcoa.
sea, the encounter with the shadowy figure, and what he could remember of the Sacred
Forest. He even told them of the dreams he had been having.
elf calling.
- Her name was Dilya, member of the faith of Xuton, the Twilight deity.
- We spoke of the dreams I had been having since my trip.
- She had me come to their ceremonies, which mostly occurred at Twilight or
during the night. - She explained to me their duty to make sure the transition of Twilight, was a thing
of beauty, of joy, and rest. That the night should pass by peacefully. Also that the
night and its beauty should be embraced. Darkness is part of all things, and in it,
there should be peace. - For Savaeris, it spoke to his now empowered urge to protect those he cares
about, whether it’s his friends or family. - He also found a peacefulness in that Twilight, in the night.
- Whenever he was feeling agitated, or stressed, he found quietly sitting in
darkness or the night calmed him. - While studying under Dilya, the dreams became more frequent. More visions of
the night, the various phases of the moon, and that space between night and day. - All brought him peace. It brought him a sense of purpose. It called to him,
and he answered. - He may respect Igdite, as all elves do, but he revered Xuton. He wasn’t going to
ignore the sense of duty he felt to be one of their chosen. - This later manifested into his first spell, which was a thrill to experience. He knew
it stemmed from his faith. He called to Xuton, and they answered. - Dilya, not only taught him in the ways of connecting to his spirituality, but also in
the ways of fighting. - He was always strong, but after many bouts with Dilya, he knew he had a
lot to learn. - He took a liking to the glaive. It felt right to wield it. Something adequate
to serve his god, to protect himself, and those he felt were his wards.
giant boar was reported to be terrorizing the outskirts of our village.
- He and a few others were tasked in finding out what was happening.
- They found markings of destruction through the forest, as if a giant was making
their way carelessly through the trees. - Many days later, whilst resting, it charged without warning.
- It scattered them almost immediately, wounding several of them in the process.
- He tried to send a few arrows its way, as they harmlessly bounced off its pelt.
- One did find purchase in a soft spot of its belly, but that only further
enraged it. - As it charged, he barely ducked out of the way, colliding with a tree,
snapping hislongbow in two. - He realized it was going to charge again, and armed only with his glaive, he
readied himself. He rested the back of his glaive in the ground, braced for impact,
as it came rushing forward. - Even bracing himself, it felt like he was hit by a tree, and figured his life
was at an end. - Instead, his glaive found purchase in its soft underbelly, as the beast
collapsed on top of it. - Thankfully, he was able to shift the beast off of himself, lest he be
suffocated. - He was hailed a local hero, and after tending to their wounds, finding
thankfully no one was killed, they hauled its carcass back to the village. - He had a cloak fashioned from it’s dark grey fur, which he still sports to
this day.
- He offered to accompany her, but she was fiercely independent and made the
trek on her own. - After some time, she returned, a Natus.
- She found her own calling in the more subtle nature of things. Making a name for
herself as an excellent scout.
- Savaeris did accompany him on this trek, mostly to keep him safe.
- Somewhat at the behest of their parents, but he also wanted to visit Tivr
himself again. - It was a good bonding experience for them both. He was close to both his brother
and sister, and deeply loved them. - Though the details of this journey are better told by his brother.
- He emerged from the forest, a Yentu-Na, and later trained under their father in
the art of Bladesinging. - He admired his brother, in the magic he could weave, and the way his
blade danced across the battlefield accompanied by a song only he could
make.
Tivr.
- His group that followed Xuton felt a calling to investigate an encroaching
darkness that seemed to be spreading from Chonta. Not much was known about
what was happening, other than rumors of shadowy figures, and some members
of their own village disappearing. - They felt it was best to return to Tivr to investigate further, to determine what was
truly happening, and how they could help.

What wouldn’t he allow: Picking on someone or someone who can’t protect themselves.
What would he let slide: Some shadier stuff, He’d overall be fine with it as long as it’s not directly hurting someone.
Would he approach the shadows? Yes, he’d want to investigate them and what they’re doing. In one instance, upon first witnessing one of these shadows, he touched it. Hereceived a vision of an upside down world, things not peaceful when they
normally are.
How would the character react? Darkness or witnessing acts of injustice at a distance? It would bother him, he would try to do something. If he knew he couldn’t, he’d try to off-set the situation in whatever way he could.
