Early Life
 
Aurora starting her life born in the small halfling town of Corm Orp, a town run by humans but dominated by halfling. Growing up everyone lived in fear of the large ominous keep, Darkhold, on the mountain who occupants, the Zhentarim, held the town for information on rival caravans, adventures, and anything else of import that passed through their zone of influence.
During her formative years, Aurora grew up mostly happy with her mother, Belda, her father, Quinlos, and two older brothers, Janos and Corrin. However, being the youngest Aurora grew up more of a tomboy always being hassled on by her brother, she became very good at hiding and sneaking around to avoid them when they were in mood, she became very good at getting away when they did her find and slipping out of their grasp.
My brothers had just reach adulthood, when a group of Zhentarim came into demanding conscription all capable male adults to join the Zhent guard. They began to round up all the older boy and men and slapping then shackles and hauling them away. When a group of Zhents came to collect my brothers, I tried to stop them and beaten and shoved out of the way. Unfortunately my mother raced over to try and stop them from hurting me and taking brother, only angering the soldier more. As she tried to drag my brothers away from them, one of the guard order for her to be dealt and as I laid their bleeding and smashed up, one of the most menacing of the guard, pulls out this blackish glowing sword and proceed to run through my mother, the blackish glow somehow betting brighter as I watch my mother wither and decay before my eyes. Unable to move I let out a scream, tears pouring down my face and hate filling my soul for these men. My father stood there motionless, in shock, I grew even angrier that he didn’t help mom. My mother body left in the street, the soldier gathered the up all the captives and left heading back to the keep.
After the soldiers pull out, the remaining townsfolk rush to my side to help me, at which point I had passed out from the damaged I received. When I awake, wrapped in bandage with some of elder town folk caring for me, I look around not seeing my father anywhere, I call out him crying again remembering my mother being killed and my brothers taken. The elder try to comfort me, but I end up crying myself in unconsciousness again from the pain.
After a month of recovery, Aurora is able to final get back on her feet. The assault left her badly scarred, and having her become very conscious of her body, she keep most of her body covered because of it. The only visible scar that can be seen is one that run down her forehead and past her left eye to her cheek, another on her right lower lip running down to her chin, and one running down her right cheek. She now from this day forward has a pure hatred of the Zhentarim, and given the chance, will murder one without care.
As the years past, the toll of losing most of his family, my father became more distant and drank more and more, becoming sullen drunk. In his state he ignored my more and more and I began to become closed off and lonely as the I lost the trust of my father to love and care for me. I ended up living on the streets for the next couple year when our father lost the house and I started to hang out with the wrong people, getting into trouble, stealing to feed myself and to buy the things I needed. Honing my skills I became better and better and getting the things I wanted. I swore to myself I would never suffer again nor want for the things I need and become the best thief in ever.
 
Striking Out on Her Own
 
Aurora strikes out and begins to make her way west to the coast, late in the night she steal a horse from outside the tavern and races out of town. She spends many weeks travelling west working her way to the Trade Way to make her way to Waterdeep. She spends her trip going town to town, stealing whatever she can to survive. Food, money, clothing, etc. Her luck manages to hold out until for weeks when she finally arrives in Daggerford. Being out of food and water for the last three days, she makes her way into the local general store and attempts to philfer some food, but being so hungry has slowed her reactions and she is caught by the owner. She is arrested and spends the next six month in jail, where she end up befriending a human thief, Antonius, who teaches her about poisons and remedies. Eventually is she is released and continues, however, before leaving she gets her revenge of the general store merchant, and robs the place of its gold and travel supplies and manages to get away clean this time.
On the road again, this time she decides to avoid bigger town, and works her way past Waterdeep. A months later, after robbing smaller towns and she finds herself in Red Larch, where while trying to rob one of the few merchants in town, she is surprised by the merchant who came home late. A scuffle ensues, and she ends up stabbing the merchant through the neck, covering both herself and him in blood. Strangely while shaking from the adrenaline of the fight, she look down on the body of the merchant and feels nothing. It was his life or hers, she will never be caught again, she will become the best thief in all of Faerun. Cleaning out the house of everything she can find, she sneaks her way out of town under the cover of night.
Making her way to next town, Yartar, she finds signs of a thieves guild in town. Putting out feeling she find the local fence to sell her ill-gotten gains. The local guild “Hand of Yartar” ends recruiting her, seeing her skill. For a few years, things were good. The Hand would intercept trade coming out of Tribor and either rob them or tax them depending on the value of the goods. Using my skills I am able to quickly raise the rank through the guild, but this end up leaving many jealous of my quick rise.
I end up find a score that will set us for month, a cabin in the woods being used as a transfer point for gold coming from the northern mines. A few of the Hands, decided to set up me and a few of the newer girls and hope we are taken care of and are a distraction for them. The job I was expecting goes to shit, I notice a few of the senior girls missing. They knew we were coming. I fight for our lives, but all the Hands in my group perish, and I run away knowing its hopeful to fight these odds. Feeling betrayal again by those I had come to care for as family, it breaks me, I await their return, over the course of the next nights, I kill every single girl that that betrayed, that I can get my hands on. I steal anything I can use or sell and escape. Shoken by betrayal and hate for leaving those girl behind. I escape further north, find a seedy place to lay low in Everlund.
 
A New Way of Life
 
Depressed and mad, Aurora settles in Everlund for a time. Using the funds she stole, to fund a house and life for a few year. She does odd jobs around town and make some contacts with the Shadow Thieves that work out of their. Bored of a life on the run, she spots an advertisement for Cunning Limited adventure guild. She packs up her belongs and makes her way to Silverymoon, and sign on the dotted line.
