Olette was born and grew up with her family in a small research base called Esther out on the border between the Gloamwood and the Republic. One quiet winter night, the T̴̼̃ȁ̴̞l̶̼͛'̶̔͜Q̷̘̅u̸͘ͅe̸̳͊s̶̖̈s̸̪͌i̸̫͛r̸̦͝ attacked Esther, destroying all in their wake and killing Olette's mother. The survivors sought refuge in Arcanus in hopes of being able to continue their research. Olette and her father joined the Church of the Silver Flame and spent their time learning all they could about Arctiax, and his relation to the Gloamwood.
 
Years go by, and the Etienne's become well-regarded scholars of the Church. In the years of study however, Olette noticed inconsistencies with the religious texts and began questioning all she had studied. To try and piece the puzzle, she stumbled too far into the library and found herself in the forbidden section. Here she learned the true nature of the dragon within the tree and was caught. Both her and her father were deemed "no longer necessary" by the inquisitors and were sought out for removal. Olette escaped, not knowing the fate of her father and moved onward to the Rose Protectorate in hopes of a new life.
 
She applied and was accepted into a college to further her arcane studies and became close friends with ʝԹԾʅ, ɱคՐ౮ɿՈ, and ᖽᐸ'ᓍᘉ. T̵͉͠ḫ̵́e̴̼̋y̷̱̑ ̵̮͊d̶̞͑r̸̬͊e̶̗̚a̵̡̎m̵̧͌e̷̩͘d̴̡́ ̷̛͓ọ̶͆f̵̖̒ {̵͍͔͈̭̆̐̓R̵̡͖̂̔̽͛͝E̵̦̿̈́͋̿͝D̵̡̡̖̤̱̓͊̊A̶̟̙̩̯͓͑̕C̶̠̾T̸̡̙͒̍̐Ē̶̼̻̗̰̮̘͌̈́D̶͇͖̮̲̂}̷̢̩̽̓

After the Tower fell, Olette joined in with her current crew in search of Divine Armaments and a way to stop the darkness..while trying not to get in the way of all the political succession. Along the journey, she stumbled upon a set of tainted Archmagi Robes, after spending the time to study and attune, she learned the dark secret kept within and was cursed to live or die by the robes. Luckily (or not) she was hit by a train and was sent to the shadow realm. Tyra used their last wish and brought Olette back from the brink, only to find she had been transformed, or rather, reverted back to before the Night of Silvery Tears...back to a Wood Elf.
