Question for all the realms of people out there. What has to be the coolest location in your specific lands that you've visited recently? For me it has to be the forests of Tolvin. The deeper you go in the larger the trees and animals become to the point where it seems as if you are a minuscule ant. The only downside being the fact that not only do animals enlarge to monstrous sizes but so do Creatures of the night. It was the worst experience of my current life having to try and dodge the feet of Giant Fire salamander. It was the size of a dragon when usually they're only bout as big as a wolf.

The 25th of Ordellon

I haven't seen the monster of a being in or around town for about a month now. I hope it has left us for good. It'll allow me to be a tad less on edge at night. I keep expecting an attack but it never comes. Otherwise life has been good, tavern dwellers still drunk, the towns community garden has grown quite beautifully in the last week. Barnaby brought a wonderful flower from a place called the underdark. At night it glows a pretty turquoise, plus if i'm not mistaken i believe its actually started to spread around the neighboring plots of land. Soon we may not even require lanterns at night! haha

The 25th of Ordellon

That damned lich! It snuck into town while I was on my walk with Mrs. Gosmer. I hurried her along to avoid a confrontation, but when I came back ready for the second biggest fight of my life it was gone!

The 25th of Ordellon

I through out my 300th drunkard!

The guy was like 5' 2" IMMENSE beer belly and the scraggliest beard I've ever laid eyes on! He and his friend had fallen in love with our signature Golden Ale but he proved himself different than the other drunkards because after his 10th tankard he got up on stage and started dancing as if he as a male performer and his fellow drunks cheered him on as he swung wildly and in significantly seductive ways. It was quite the sight! I was honestly disappointed when my boss ordered me to throw the guy out. In honor of his spectacular act I carried him with a noticeable amount of care that I don't ever give the regulars. The bar was lighted with cheers and shouts of joy the entire time. These types of encounters are why I love this job.

The 25th of Ordellon

Today one of my old friends at the bar, a medical wizard by the name of Barnaby, told me something very peculiar today at work. He said that his current patient is a " strange kind of guy " ,when I asked what about the guy made him so weird ole Barny said the person had lost all of his six senses (which just honestly baffles me). I tried to make him spill more info about his patient but he told me that he was at the limit of shareable info. If what he said about this guy is true then I can't believe how the guy must feel. I don't know if I could stand never being able to smell the country air ever again. It would tear at my soul!

The 25th of Ordellon

Well it has been quite a while since I last set foot in this website and I must say that it is good to be back! My life on the outside has been busy and I hope to make up for time with some more activity in the near future. I personally don't plan on the world deterring me from my good ol' Dwarvish brute Doloric or my skeletal friend Jack for the forseable future. Cheers!

The 25th of Ordellon

I thankfully managed to regain my job as a bouncer for the pub. Doing something so mindless and easy is a good change for me. Being out surviving in the wilderness with trained experts may sound truly jolly, but it is fact a huge workload.

The 25th of Ordellon

I acknowledge that I haven't informed you all on what I've been doing this last half a year and I'm truly sorry for that and I will eventually come clean with you but at the moment I'm at a loss for words other than that we found the crystal. We were completely unprepared for the retrieval process, it was futile. I don't think I can ever go back there.....that Nox, he knew what was up there and sent us there anyway!!! If I ever get my hands on that head of his I might just crack it like an egg!!

The 25th of Ordellon

We found a lich! He said we were mistaken and that he was no such thing, but we knew better! Karra attacked with swift motion but the skeleton through out some sort of dust from its hand and we all were promptly knocked out. It defeated us once but if we cross paths again it won't be so lucky!

The 25th of Ordellon

Now, it's taken me some time to prepare for my great journey and quite a few favors to acquire the correct gear but, I believe that even an inexperienced adventurer such as myself can have a great deal of fun on this journey. Even as much as a person who might be doing this for the hundredth time. Though I don't know of how much help I'll be other than a healer.

The 25th of Ordellon

1/2 of a year. 1/2 of a year and he's finally returned, Nox. I was enjoying my usual day of work at the tavern when he suddenly walked in, dressed in fine robes and looking happier than I was comfortable with. His robes flowing gracefully in the wind a dark shade of blue, his mask was newly polished and his highlights repainted, and the bandages that covered his body a clean shade of white unlike the brown, worn tattered ones he had on when we first met. A completely new man. He rushed over to me and shook my hand saying to me that the day had finally come, the day that the adventure was to start. He told me everything: about the crew I'll be working with, the money they'll provide me with, the placees we'll visit. Everything. I haven't been this excited since I won the village faire with my two headed goat!

The 25th of Ordellon

So last night I was star gazing right? Well if I saw what I think I saw then I might be going crazy, because I swear I saw a pack of sea turtles swimming through the starry night sky! Even though my mind was probably just playing tricks on me they sure looked majestic, and if I was able to see them enough to make out what they were then they must be gigantic!

The 25th of Ordellon

Today I saw an interesting looking gauntlet at the local flea market and it looked quite old, but when I asked the shopkeep about it they said that that gilded glove in particuler is brand new! How curious!

The 25th of Ordellon

The menu for writing posts is broken for me. By that I mean the layout not the actual website cuz how else did I make this post

The 25th of Ordellon

I just saw one of his minions! It was just standing there, in the middle of town, as if waiting for someone. Curious.

The 25th of Ordellon

With the season of summer coming to a close and not a peep from Nox for 2 months it's not a huge surprise that I completely forgot about his proposition. Instead I looked forward, only thinking about how my daily trips to the market with Ms. Gosmer will get just a little bit harder when winter eventually strolls around. For now, though, I will be content with the changing of colors, the harvest festival, and cooler days to come, but I have started to wonder what happened to that old xelor...

The 25th of Ordellon

by the way should I make another character?

The 25th of Ordellon

Ahhhh..the summer months. They remind me of simpler times back when I was just a wee child. How my friends and I would be sent to work in the fields, I wasn't the best at my job though being a dwarf and all that but it was fun. So it's always nice to see the new young folk returning home covered in mud and grass stains because it means growth for the town and growth in their own well being and soul.

The 25th of Ordellon

Barok came in today and announced what his new daughters name was. She was to be named May Rawthorn. How cute!

The 25th of Ordellon

It's been a week and I still haven't heard from Nox about this supposed adventuring group. I'm starting to wonder if there really even is a group, or I just agreed to get scammed.

The 25th of Ordellon

In other news I got a raise at the tavern for doing " An optimal job " as my boss puts it.

The 25th of Ordellon

Today during my usual shift at the bar Barok finally showed up. When he came in the rest of the staff and I immediately started asking about why he was gone so long, turns out his wife Samantha was pregnant. So he had to quickly race her to the next town over to deliver the baby since our towns' doctor was absent on the request of the elf lord himself( for reasons unknown to me ).

The 25th of Ordellon

I recently went on a trip to the grand canyon

The 25th of Ordellon

Can an egg be cute?

The 25th of Ordellon

So, I went to meet the xelor and it was a weird experience. It was super foggy so I had brought a lantern to find my way around, but when I got to the town square there was no fog at all and Nox was just sitting on the lip of the town well talking to two short creatures. I had no clue what they were but they sorta looked like a cross between halflings and gnomes, except they had horns and when he was finished talking to them they seemed to teleport away. Then he saw me. He just stood up without a word and within the blink of an eye was standing right in front of me. We exchanged greetings and got down to business. Apparently he wanted me to join a group he was putting together, though I was reluctant he quickly reassured me by saying that the group wasn't some strange religion or cult but rather an adventuring party on a request to find a special crystal of immense power. Without thinking I immediately agreed and with that he was gone. I have no idea of what I have gotten myself into!

The 25th of Ordellon

The mist is way too thick today. I thought I had seen a dragon but really it was just an old man with a baby carriage. I might need to get my eyes checked.

The 25th of Ordellon

So the zealot named Nox found me again on my usual trip to market with Ms. Gosmer. This time he seemed a great deal impatient, and was now more than ever insistant that I take his offer. After reaching my destination I told him that I will take on his offer, at this he gave a slight echoing chuckle from beneath his mask. He went stern again and told me to meet him tomorrow, the town square,at midnight. Then he walk away muttering something under his breath to himself.

The 25th of Ordellon

Yeah,I was big in Japan. I was King at ping-pong. Yeah I was bad at tuba and I'm sure you'd like me to bounce.( If you know what this is from without looking i up you have my ultimate respect. )

The 25th of Ordellon

To spice up the village talk im gonna go and leave a watermelon in front of someones door in the dead of night

The 25th of Ordellon

Something strange happened today. I was just minding my business when all of a sudden a zealot was standing before me. He looked weirdly mechanical and called himself Nox. He told me that he was wishing to pay me for my services as protection, and that " it was in my best interest to help him." Begrudgingly I agreed and he disappeared after I looked away to deal with a rowdy customer. I feel very uneasy about this, first Barok now this guy?!

The 25th of Ordellon

I've bought myself one of those plague doctor bird masks. I'm gonna go around town wearing it to psyche people out and generally be weird

The 25th of Ordellon

So I went to Baroks house today to confront him on why he hasn't been coming to work, but when I got there, no one was home. The place was filthy, it looked like he left in a hurry. For what, I don't know. Weird

The 25th of Ordellon

It's been two days now and Barok still hasn't shown up to work. Boss is starting to worry, and even worse yet it seems as though the patrons have been getting rowdier than usual. Drinking more and talking less, honestly it's starting to make me annoyed. I don't know how long I can hold down the fort for, I mean only two days and I've already had three take downs ( people causing such a comotion that they need to be physically forced out ). Seriously where could he be!

The 25th of Ordellon

Today Barok didn't come to work. I wonder what happened to him.

The 25th of Ordellon

oranges aren't bananas or apples. they are coconuts

The 25th of Ordellon

wait if towns are " burnt to the ground " does that mean that its just the stone or metal skeletons of a structure with no wood, cloth, or paper or does it mean that the stone and metal bits are knocked down to? I've always heard " oh my town was burnt to the ground " cuz I mean that's sad and all but, wouldn't the town still technically be there except all the wooden bits are gone ( if my understanding is correct ). Please educate my dumb self.

The 25th of Ordellon

I've sadly learned that recently my home town was burned to the ground after a long raid by a pack of Orcs. I guess life isn't fair sometimes, I'm going to miss that place.

05:47 pm - 25.05.2020

Ever since my dear old mother was just a little girl the same group of bandits have been terrorizing our little town, and the the roads leading towards us. The strange thing about them is, they never rob anyone leaving town. Only people coming in to town, as if to ward them off....but the strangest thing yet is that whenever the authorities talk to the robbed they always act as if not trusting anyone. Every single person. I can only wonder what those villainous miscreants are telling people for them to always be so wary.....

05:35 pm - 25.05.2020

Gerald should be coming by soon with our shipment of alcohol. Let's hope he didn't get robbed this time.

03:22 pm - 24.05.2020

To be completely serious I once saw 3 patrons start a bar fight just because the tavern ran out of Golden Ale. Trust me taking down and escorting out a furiously drunk halfling is no easy feat.

10:15 pm - 22.05.2020

Man the rain just won't let up today. I hope the taverns' shipment of alcohol isn't late.

10:10 pm - 22.05.2020

I mean..... yea I know that I said I'm protection for hire but I just wish that Ms. Gosmer would stop paying me to escort her to her house from the marketplace. Seriously we live in probably one of the quietest villages south of the House of Elrosh. Nothing bad has ever happened here.....I guess.

04:53 am - 22.05.2020

finally an end to a hard days work * sigh of relief *

04:19 am - 19.05.2020

Hope my shift ends soon so Barok can take over for me.

07:16 pm - 18.05.2020

Last night I had to escort out of the tavern two elves who had gotten a little too happy during are regularly scheduled Happy Hour. Ugh,I need to get out of this tiny town. If only...

07:30 pm - 08.05.2020

i really wish i could change my username.
