Personal history

At a young age, Celimene was found alone, ashen and scuffed with fresh soot.
Alive, but barely. A faint breath could be heard from the frail child like a whisper.
Cinders cracked and popped as timber beams crumbled behind her body, remnants of a home once bustling with life.
The glow of the embers contrasted with the moon glow from the sky. Warm and cool, dull and bright.
The soft crunch of footsteps on fallen ash approach with a leisurely pace, unconcerned with the state of the child.
The figure looks up at the full night sky, breathing deeply with eyes closed as if they were anticipating something to happen.
Still aside the smoldering homestead, Celimene pushes herself up, seeming to be uninjured from the incident. She looks up at the looming figure above her who seems to be paying her no mind.
Mouth agape and throat dry and coarse, Celimene tries to speak out to them. Without having a chance to say anything at all, the cloaked stranger looks down to her, and reaches out her hands.
They were long and pale but humanoid limbs and hands. A soft smile paints on her face as she locks eyes with the young child. Eyes like a pool of water during the late of the night, glowing and a cascade of stars.
"Come with me, child. None shall harm you again."
A small hand reaches out to the smiling woman, grasping at what she can when she is able to raise herself up to her feet.
The woman keeps the child's hand in her own, and begins to lead her from the same direction from where she came.
Leading away into the glow of the moonlight.

Education

Since Celimene was brought to the temple, she had been doing her studies with the priestesses. They had helped to hone her magic and skills. Her knowledge of the world and of those from all around. She was always curious to learn more and more about the outside world, to see what else there may be.

Celimene is the youngest priestess of her faction of faith, and prides herself upon this.
She was fast with her studies and had favour of one of the high priestess'.

Failures & Embarrassments

With her many successes, she had failures as equal. She angers when her thoughts are brought back to her mistakes and misjudgments.

Mental Trauma

Celimene cannot remember much of her old life, including her birth name. Something inside her yearns to know of her life before, but has an internal conflict to leave it behind. She remembers what she had done to her home. It is only spoken now with hushed tones and silent whispers. She pushes these thoughts away further and further away, taking her memories with them.

Morality & Philosophy

Her faith is solely with her goddess Selune. She tries to embody her faiths teachings and will remove anything that is actively against her and her families undertaken plan.
