Personal history
Early Years:
Alasie Belmont was born on the 28th of October, 1907, in a pumpkin patch on Lane Castle, Alaska. She was the youngest child of Morgan and Siku Belmont. Alasie's father worked as geological surveyors for Alaska Steam Coal & Petroleum Syndicate and was seldom home, leaving alone with her distraught mother and older brother.
Alaise's birth was anything but routine. A month before she was supposed to be born, a demonic cult abducted her mother, forcing her to give birth. After the violent event surrounding her daughter's birth, Siku became distraught and distant, leading to heavy substance abuse to cope. With each year of Alaise's life, her mother became more incoherent, leaving her upbringing to her eight-year-old brother Toby.
Watching his mother become more self-destructive, Toby became increasingly more violent, but verbally and physically with his sister, blaming her for what was prospering. When Alasie was between three and four years old, her brother would start locking her in the coal box in the back of the house and performing intense, savage exorcisms upon her.
At six, her mother was committed to the Whistling Hallows Asylum after attempting suicide. Following these events, her bother attempted to murder Alasie by strangulation, only to be saved by their father. Afterward, Her father sent her to live with her uncle and aunt, Bairre and Ciara Belmont, and twin cousins, Emer and Fiona, at their farm northern shore of Cape Aisling, Washington.
Childhood:
Growing up in Cape Aisling, Oregon was a peaceful yet challenging life. Although Alice's aunt and uncle treated her like a daughter, outside of her family, she was an outcast. Alice never successfully learns proper social skills, preferring to spend time with farm animals instead of people. Her social issues and unusual hobby of carving talismans out of soap made her ridicule her fellow children.
Shortly after starting middle school, Alasie referred to herself as Alice or Alasie. Both with very distinct personalities. In school, she was Alice, a straightforward, defensive, and logical individual who loved to learn; outside of school, she was Alasie, a timid, flighty, adventurous girl obsessed with the supernatural. During this time, she met her closest friends, Silvia Lane and Gwendaline Lan Levasque.
By the start of high school, Alice had joined a local 4-H branch and started volunteering at the local animal shelter and her aunt at her veterinary clinic. Meanwhile, Alasie became the first woman to join the school's astronomy club and took up her love of rock climbing and skiing. In the summer of 1924, Alice's closest friend Gwendaline ran away from home.

After graduating, she got a job at the Tappersville Veterinary Clinic in Tappersville, Oregon. While living in Tappersville, she stayed at the Oasis Roaming House. For years without her knowing it, the landlady Agatha O'Byrne discretely began turning her into a ghoul, mixing her blood with Alasie tuna sandwiches. On the 6th of August, 1935, sensing a kindred spirit, Agatha embarrassed her.
On the 12th of April, 1952, Agatha's haven became compromised and destroyed in a fire, forcing her to disappear. For the next 58 years, They traveled through the US and Canada. After receiving a strange letter from Gwendaline, they returned to Tappersville, taking a job at an animal shelter while living in a basement apartment with Gwendaline, under The White Elephant Indian Restaurant, run by the Joshi family.

Outside of school, Alice learned many skills. Her adopted sisters educated her in animal husbandry, horticulture, and dog sledding. At the same time, her new mother taught her an introduction to veterinary medicine. Although Alice didn't see much of her uncle; he spent most of his time working in the slate quarry or sea hunting seals and whales, but when he had time for his three daughters, he showed them how to hunt and survive off the land.
