I hate Swamp

What an immensely unpleasant few days.
A baptism in a way.
I’ve killed before,
but here, in the wilderness, people fight like animals,
if they are even people, the lizardfolk.
I’ve killed before but this was circumstantial rather than defensive in nature. I know no court in any land would try me for the murder of lizardfolk, but I do not enjoy it.
They can keep the bloody swamp as far as I’m concerned. I just want a bath.
Luci and I find ourselves with strange company;
A dwarf with a gruff demeanour but seems to be easy to provoke gentleness from
A strange woman whom it’s hard to read. She carries blades, and has a certain look in her eye, but she has not yet played out much of a hand.
A happy-go-lucky Triton who seems perfectly at ease with this hell we’ve just landed in.
A twitchy man with quite the throwing arm who has been going stir crazy in the swamp alone
And a too-perfect-by-half-elf woman who seems to be studying us, but is quick with healing magic
