Physical Description
She's of a lean build, with a spry step, a smile always at the ready and a deep curiosity in her heterochromic eyes.

Her Tiefling and Genasi heritages mingle in conflicting ways, with a dull bronze coloured skin on one side but bright multi coloured eyes and hair on the other side. She braids them in a way to enhance the colour shifts, and her horns are carved, painted and encased in gold and green glass, in the typical fashion of the Marean Republic.

Born of a Tiefling and an Air Genasi, she has spent their whole life in the city of Tusena in the Mareane Republic, on an island leased to the Eshanan Confederation. Raised by a loving family, she always enjoyed talking to people and listening to their stories. Her favourite past time as a teenager was going to the taverns on the docks to listen to the sailors' stories. After being kicked out several times for being a minor, she eventually convinced the owner Larza Venzero to let them work in the tavern. She made many friends among staff and customers, and learned the art of telling stories and playing music from the rowdy people of the docks.
She moved from taverns to taverns, eager for more stories. With a nice smile and a comforting word, she always managed to make people feel comfortable and listened to, and her excellent skills as a waitress and host got them a place in one of the most popular kaf-house in the upper city, where merchants and nobles alike mingled. A place rife with rumors and whispered secrets, where deals are dealed and friendships made or unmade. She heard many stories there, and learned the skills of a proper barista.
However one day she heard one secret too many and powerful people came after her. They threatened to harm her family and burned down the kaf-house, and she had no choice but to flee on the first ship sailing away....

She has a basic school level but has learned a lot mixing with people of all backgrounds: music, art, history, storytelling... even some magic that seeps into her songs, her words and her cups of tea.
Employment
She was the best barista at the kaf-house of the Dancing Matron - allegedly named after the owner's great great mother danced naked on the docks in a desperate call for the Gods to bless her family with riches.
Unfortunately Nerinai had to abandon her position and flee. Maybe she can find a similar position in Rwyn or Thuzia?
