Oasim has a very unusual appearance, affect, and demeanor. It throws others off when they're around him and it's not entirely clear that's not his intent.

Oasim is an enigma of all kinds, not just in his appearance and behavior. He's not forthcoming with almost anyone about his past and how he's come to the outer edges of the Third Horizon. Very few people know that he's from Algol and this is probably the reason he doesn't talk about the subject. Even though he left his homeworld at a young age, he hasn't stopped moving.

Oasim's Descriptions and Mannerisms

Oasim has a very distinctive and odd appearance and affect. He appears to be completely hairless and his skin is so pale, it's almost alabaster. His frame is not as unusual as the rest of him, but that's the exception. Oasim's behavior is equally unusual in that he moves uncertainly and speaks with a very slow and purposeful cadence. In total, it's an affect that throws others off and it's not certain if Oasim prefers it that way.
 
In times of action and crisis, Oasim is a bit more usual in his gait and actions. He can handle himself with a pistol a bit but he is always looking out for comrades who need medical attention. A true medic, Oasim prefers to patch others up than he does putting holes in them.

• Red - Oasim is intrigued by how Red represents pretty much the opposite of everything he is and does.


• Akeel - Oasim despises the company courtesan and Akeel has given him plenty of reason to do so.
