She's witty, wise, responsible and perhaps a little too naive. Plagued by her dead familie, she now works on reversing it.

Age 0-7.
Living on the streets Mia was seen as different or strange at times by others. Having met a friendly Halfling she got a better lot in life. Providing her with a place to sleep and eat in return she helped the old Halfling around in his day to day work. The Halfling was always digging stuff up and preparing equipment for one of his friend. A famed traveller, who she only saw ones but never got to meet properly.
Age 7-17.
One day an old family member found her and brought her to her grandfather. A accomplished wizard. Here in the large mansion of her grandfather she met her two brothers. The two serving their grandfather with much devotion and helping him in the pursuit of arcane knowledge.
It was here that under the watchful eye of her grandfather she learned how to read, write and learn the basics of magic. At the age of seventeen her grandfather showed her a dark tome he kept locked up in a special chamber in his study. Her grandfather then demanded she performed one of the rituals in it. “A tradition in the family” as he had said. When she finished the ritual she had summoned a Maw demon. The process of the ritual showing her visions of empty darkness and a glimpse into the realm after death. The creature and the ritual made her so afraid that the next day she had fled her grandfather’s mansion in terror, leaving her family behind.
Age 17-24.
Once again on her own, she found her way back to the old Halfling. Staying out of sight of the local villagers afraid her grandfather would come for her again. After a couple of years past she got a treasure map of the little halting, saying she should go look for fortune and power to face her inner demons. After a few months on the road she found a kind soul in the man Reinhold de Lion. A priest of Torm, who quickly became a good friend and a great travel companion. Along the way she picked up some extra magical talents. And made her own spell book.
Age 24-27.
In the end she fell in love with the man, and got married. But when Reinhold de Lion found out about her families dark past of summoning strange demonic creatures he set off towards the old mansion of her grandfather only to be eating along the way by a maw demon. Now fully aware that gods don’t have any true power over lives and that the emptiness of dead is not glorious either she is now searching for a way to return her former lover back to life. The only way she knows how, Through raw magic.
