Wilf Star-eye, once Wilf of Nid, is Micah‘s younger brother. After Micah’s departure Wilf ran away from home to follow him on his quest for glory. Instead of reuniting with his brother in Jarrow, Wilf was lured into the Feywild. Lost and alone, he agreed to serve the fey for a year and a day in exchange for free passage back to the Material Plane. When he realized that time was passing much more slowly on that plane, he bargained with the Unseelie Court to release him from servitude—only to find that he was still unable to leave the Feywild before his allotted sentence was through. He grew to adulthood living on the run from the fey who wanted him back.
 
Wilf lives on the borders of fey society, keeping an eye out for other lost human travelers and helping them escape through the portals he can never use. He was aware of his brother’s two previous trips to the Feywild but did not reveal himself during those excursions, choosing instead to range ahead and clear a path for Micah and his companions.
 
A year and a day into his exile, Wilf has aged twenty years. He is prepared to finally leave the Feywild and reunite with his brother—until Calla brings him unfortunate news.
