Zeed Ikki was born in Talonsedge, a young colony setlled by his parents and their peirs as an outpost to support their human allies in the fight against the gargoyles.
When he was at the age of 7, he completed his training in the arts of combat. This though, didn't satisfiy this overzealous Aarakocra. He decided that he didn't only want to be a proficent fighter, but also a well studied scholar.
Not because he wanted to be knowledgeable but rather to be able to call himself smarter then anyone else.
This is also why Zeed took up studies of multiple languages. So that he wouldn't be confronted with a situation in which he couldn't explain to someone why they were wrong and stupid. Furthermore he wanted to be able to refuse to speak a language instead of just not being incable of speaking it.
This craving for knowledge is what ended up drawing Zeed into the life of an adventurer. Traviling the lands trying to find every piece knowledge he could, in every library, town and settlement along his way.
