He often is found in his cloak of red and gold bearing his families colors and arms, his armor, trimmed in polished brass and his chestnut stallion bearing barding of similar colors to his shield and tabard. His arms distinct from his families by the inclusion of a blood red rose upon the engrailed bar. When at court he dresses in the finest fashions from the Duchy.

Mentality

Personal history

Corduin is the eldest son of Baron Giles Leonceour and heir to the barony of Leonesse. He squired beneath Sir Baldrin of Brione, the Nephew of the current Duke. Spending most of his adolescence learning the etiquette of a Dukes Court as well as training in the Knightly arts. He was Knighted 2 years hence when he defeated an Ogre in Single Combat. His Liege Baldrin was knocked to the ground in a vicious melee, spurring Galahad his Dulan Charger, he lowered his lance and shouted a challenge aiming for the beasts heart. Crashing into the monster his lance shattered as it drove deep into the Ogres chest, in a screeching reel, the ogre pummeled young Corduin from his mount. Scrambling to his feet and drawing his bastard sword, the wounded Ogre was dying but not dead. Calling for the Lady's grace he lunged for the beast, blocking its club with his shield he delivered several quick blows, and the bleeding ogre gave its final death curdle and fell. Breathing heavy inside his helm he realized the din of battle had ended. In its place were the cheers of his comrades. The battle had ended the ogres driven off, leaving only Corduin and his opponent as the other Knights, Men at Arms and Squires circled to watch the contest. Baldrin ordered Corduin to remove his helmet and kneel, Knighting him upon the battlefield. Corduin returned to his fathers home a Knight of the Lady as was their families tradition and has taken up duties as a Knight of the Barony.

Education

Corduin was taught in his early years by his fathers personal tutor, however most of his study would be in the arts of war and court as a Page and Squire to Baldrin.

Employment

Corduin is a Knight of his Fathers Barony, and thus the Land Lord of several small farmsteads.

Corduin has been caught many a times reading poetry and swooning the ladies of the court, especially the married ones.

Intellectual Characteristics

Corduin is an intelligent man but his studies and knowledge are of a limited scope. In the rearing, raising and training of horses, the best tactics upon the field of battle, the proper handling, timing, distance, and movement of a sword, or the histories or connections of noble houses he is astute. To the accounting of numbers, balancing of ledgers, mixing of chemicals, or other such things, he has had little interest or need to learn. He favors the finer spoken word, the courtly dance, or the thrill of battle over intellectual pursuits.

He follows the Chivalric code of his Country as well as the Tenants of the Order of the Lady. He is Sworn to Valor, His Word to speak only Truth, his Blade to Defend the Helpless, His Might to Uphold the Weak, His Wrath to undo the Wicked. This sense of Honor will often times put him at odds with "The Law" in the face of doing what is right.
