Wearing Brass coated scale mail, older brass warhammer and entrenching tool he helped design for his parents. Has a blue dyed leather tomb with dwarven runic carvings on it and a red spine.

Personal history

Eoin is a shield dwarf who was born in the sword mountains. He has become an archeologist after his parents Desmond and Gwendolyn. While he was young, his parents were out a lot and he lived with his grandfather, Kylian. Kylian forced him to learn how to wield a battle axe and armor when he wanted to learn more about the explorations and archeological finds that his parents found. Eoin spent all of his free time searching around for books and more information about exploration.
During his teenage years, he picked up the family smithy to earn his keep and spent his time exploring around the mountains. He met a family of rock gnomes, who he became very close with, the Baffindiggles. They were a family of magic tinkerers, and it was there he learned of the fantastic world of magic. On one of his explorations into the mountain, he found a strange tome adorned with extravagant dwarven runes but it was written in primordial. Eoin spend a more time trying to understand this tome and discovered that it was a spellbook. His parents were supportive of his new talent and so he continued to hone his craft. His grandfather, a highly respected member of the sword mountain shield dwarves, was highly against any of the dwarves learning arcane talents and had gotten it banned within the clan.
 
When Eoin was 24, he accidently let slip that he learned the arcane, Kylian was infuriated and banished Eoin from the clan. Since his parents were on an expedition at the time, he went to search for them. He couldn't find them and so Eoin decided to go out and explore the world for his own, find his own archeological mysteries and hopes to share them with his parents one day, maybe even find them in a dig site somewhere. He knows he has time so he is more interested in adventure and new experiences he can record and share with his parents one day.
 
Ever since, Eoin has been steadily making his way around Faerun to different archeological sites to prove a name for himself as an archeologist of ancient dwarven ruins.

Education

Learned most of what he knows from his clan's history books, the stories his parents told him, and more from the family of gnomes he befriended.

Employment

He was an armor smith in his clan to make some money. Got good at it but his passion was exploring.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Has helped excavate some otherwise unextractable artifacts from a couple of sites with the use of his magic.

Failures & Embarrassments

In one ruin, he delved too far in on his own and got lost, he got knocked out after falling a distance and woke up with a strange tome which he now keeps and studies. He truly doesnt know who saved him.

Mental Trauma

Still hasnt fully come to terms with the fact that he has been banished from his home and uses adventures and new experiences to distract himself to a degree.

Motivation

Eoin is motivated by his wish to learn more about the world around him. He wants to have stories to share with his parents and friends to show the wonders he's experienced. He also knows that as of now, there is no home to go back to, so he uses the new experiences to distract himself from that fact.
