As Shadar-Kai, the reuniting, and strengthening of the ways of the Elf - in all it's forms - is a paramount duty. 
 
 
 
With an attitude that may appear irreverent, or even uncaring to the shorter-lived lesser races - Lillia's motives often seem impulsive, reckless, or ... unseemly - but for nearly three centuries, she has skulked around this mortal realm, using wisdom and persuasion in the right ear to further the elven causes.
 
 
 
This traveling allowed Lillia the opportunity for knowledge, and, devout to the Raven Queen, she would not let such an opportunity be a waste - traveling to the edge of the moral realm, where her search for knowledge truly began -  she joined the clergy of the Blackspire. An ancient library -  the tomes of which make even life and death trivial. 
 
 
 
Once inducted to the first floor, initiates of the Blackspire are permitted no further until they can "navigate the realm of death and return". Lillias irreverence partially comes from this, the notion that when she dies, she will get a first look at the task she has to complete to move to the next stage of the library at the edge of the world.
 
 
 
Leaving the Spire with little, Lillia realized early that her ability to do what other lesser-races may deem "unsafe", or "reckless", paid quite sufficiently for a comfortable life. Looking for a way to increase knowledge as always, as well as get paid, Lillia took many jobs at many adventuring guilds, leaving due to the intrigue elsewhere, or due to a misunderstanding about her practicing of the weave... occasionally undead-related disagreements.
 
 
 
Now, in part due to worrying that a jovial half-elf she met is likely going to get himself slaughtered, Lillia has become an integral part of the Lynx Africa Adventuring Troupe - as she is the one who provides Marque De' Frankfurt - a symbol of arcane might, mastery over death, and he pushes La Pallisadé.
