Backstory of Aquanette Darktide (Aqua)

He simply loved to sit on the beach and stare at the water and relax. On one particular evening, a beautiful woman came out of the water and they ended up spending the evening together. He didn't see her again until she came back with a small bundle in her hands which she handed to him. That bundle was me. He never saw her again.
 
As a lone retired sailor who lived by himself on the outskirts of our small village, he was unsure of how to take care of a baby but he managed with the help of the women from the nearby village. They would give him advice even though they were somewhat afraid of me. Deep down, they were still aware that I was a helpless child.
He taught me a lot of things about the ocean, sailing and how to survive in the world. He taught me everything that he could before he passed away from old age. He did let me know that I was the best thing that had happened to him even though he had had many adventures before retirement.
 
I continued to live on the outskirts of the village and the people of this village were almost like a second family. They respected me as the daughter of Panendithas Darktide and even though I was different, they never treated me as such. The urge to see what the world looked like grew stronger with each passing day. I scraped enough gold and took what little I had with me and set off into the world.
