He was a merchant who heard the calling of Urgathoa, the god of death. By killing his family he proved himself and was sent out to do one thing. Exterminate all of humanity.
 

Backstory

He grew up the son of a merchant, and most of his life was spent as a merchant. But then his life became bleak and meaningless when his wife left him and he lost his job. Being forced to move to the capital to live off of his son. A resentment for humanity grew in him. Together with two like-minded and grumpy old men they discussed how humans poisoned and destroyed the world. One night a strange creature approached them and offered them the power they needed to cleanse the world of humanity. All they had to do was to kill what tethered them to humanity, their families. Not long thereafter the three of them left the capital, each with a powerful holy symbol and a fraction of the power that was promised.
