Session 1: Arriving in Barovia
The Journey to Barovia has been a long one. There were two other travellers on the road and we have started travelling together for the sake of safety.
There is Violet, a treasure hunter type is my guess.
The other is Eddie. A young lad who seems to be a bard of sorts.
No one has conversed much on the road. The grey skies seem to echo the mood.
Eventually we reached the border of the land. A mist seemed to hang heavy on the lands and a crow cawed a harsh warning as we crossed over the border.
The rest of the journey was mostly uneventful apart from a lone wolf attacking us but it didn't last long.
When we reached the sad little town of Barovia, it seemed like a ghost town. However that was soon dispelled as a priest came out of a nearby house, arms covered in blood, barking instructions for clean cloths and water.
Looking to my companions we quickly got to work and found some cloth in a nearby empty house and water.
The priest, named Elarin as we learnt later, was assisting a woman giving birth.
Everything seemed to go without a hitch and the baby was delivered safe.
We left them then to rest and made our way with Elarin in tow to the local Inn to find a place for the night.
