Lorenz Adenauer is a thief raised with a moral code to steal from the rich where possible to give to his less-fortunate friends. Driven to thievery by a corrupt nobleman who ruined Lorenz’s wealthier friends’ inheritance, he vowed to steal back his friends’ wealth coin by coin. Eventually driven out of town by the landlord he stole from, he now wanders the world to help even the economic scores where he can, while pocketing a pretty penny for himself.
