Physical Description

Tall, and lean due to much time hiking around nature and running from predators.

Facial Features

Silzar's eyes are a golden color, but the color seems to extend out, as if radiating light themselves. His natural, resting expression is not quite a scowl, but certainly can feel like he is constantly disapproving.

An aura of light typically emanating from his person, unnaturally golden hair.

Physical quirks

Typically good posture, but sometimes it is as if something internal is reminding him to straighten up. Like a nagging noble parent, whispering "No slouching!" into his ear. Additionally, Silzar will frequently rub the tips of his thumb and first two fingers together out of habit, as if starting a fire in his fingers.

Personal history

Silzar grew up in Timbermire, a child of an aasimar line, with two merchant parents. Their inherent greediness, selfishness, and obsession with trying to become the richest in Timbermire was always something that rubbed Sil the wrong way, and was so opposite of the rest of his selfless family line. This is the foundation of his face's natural tendency to scowl or convey dissatisfaction. Years of feuding with his family culminated in a very heated argument, the cause of which was Sil's parents refusing to help a local family after their house burned down, and the result being that Silzar decided to distance himself from his miserly parents entirely at 19. This turned out to be in his favor, as a few years after their fight, the Haldrazig parents were slain in their coach by bandits on the road to Grand Haven. This set Silzar on the path to remove himself from the world, and begin his year in contemplation, seeking to understand why greed and evil manifest, and what can be done to stop it. In his solitude, he got an answer...

Education

Nothing formal, but having middle-class parents with soft jobs allowed Silzar more of an opportunity to access and read over books than many others. Nothing captivated him, though, aside from a long standing obsession with the heavens that he could never explain.

Employment

Gathering flora for herbalism, and various herbs that he can sell to chefs.

Morality & Philosophy

Silzar firmly believes that people should be willing to help each other, especially in times of desperate need, and most people are good at heart and can find salvation and redemption. However, he struggles with an internal obsession to bring justice to the wicked, and isn't naive.

If given the choice between sparing a heartless serial killer for a chance at redemption, or ensuring they don't get a chance to harm anybody again, he will choose the latter.

Root corruption and wickedness from as many places as he can, bring divine retribution and justice on behalf of those that lack the strength to do so themselves.

Likes: The smell of the forests, the sound of rushing water, the purging of the foul. Also has a soft spot for Halfling meat pies.

Personality Quirks

As a result of his views on his family and the events surrounding the death of his parents, exacerbated by the scourge element of his blood and birth, Silzar is quick to judge somebody if they show any trait that he deems could be found lacking. While he tries to internalize this and realizes bad impressions and moments can simply be it, sometimes this escapes his head and rests on his face.

Hygiene

Silzar tries to keep clean as much as able. there is no obsession, and it is not in order to impress the upper echelons, but he knows from his basic knowledge of nature and medicine that cleanliness is important in avoiding disease and infections.
