Francisco Roberto Ulysses Antonio Reyes (Frank to anyone not family), was born the youngest of three children and only son to Roberto (middle names omitted) Reyes and Saoirse Connolly-Reyes proud owners of Taqueria El Vaquero. Frank's home-life was filled with love and warmth, and no shortage of work to be had between household chores and helping at the restaurant.
Being the only son he is very close with his father and greatly admires him. Despite how close he is with his family, his father especially, he shares few interests in common with them. He'd much rather be listening to pop punk and emo rather than whatever hip hop act his sisters love or watching pirated anime and Japanese hero shows than watching a boring soccer match with his cousins, even taking an interest in swordsmanship.
Despite these “odd” interests his parents are rather encouraging, so long as these interests don't interfere in schoolwork or helping at the restaurant he can continue to fiddle around on the internet and listen to his music. His father always seemed to have a knowing look in his eye whenever he looked at him, as if he knew a secret that Frank wasn’t privy to. Frank wrote his father’s understanding off as a reward for his diligence around the house and restaurant.
Over the summer of 2000 Frank began to see strange things throughout town and even at home, things only he seemed to be able to see. When he voiced his concerns with his father, he simply smiled and told him to “take it all in, enjoy seeing the beauty of life.”. On the 4th of July that year, Francisco Reyes completed his Chrysalis and underwent the Dream Dance as the fireworks went off. After which, a longtime friend of the family, Eric Bjornson, took him aside and sat him down to see if he was alright. At that moment, Frank saw that Mr. Bjornson was now a very large, horned, and very blue man wearing clothes out of Lord of the Rings. This is where Frank began his first steps into the life of a Changeling.

He is never seen without his favorite old scarf and aviator sunglasses, both gifts from his father.

- His immediate family consists of his parents (Roberto & Saoirse Reyes), his two older sisters (Mia & Angela), and his grandparents (Alfredo & Guadalupe Reyes) with extended family on his father’s side living in the county. His maternal grandparents are Irish immigrants and live in Portland.
- Frank’s grandfather taught him to play the accordion to be backup for his Mariachi band, there were many photos taken in the outfit.
- The Reyes family restaurant; Taqueria El Vaquero has been operational since 1980 where it began as a food truck.
- Shortly before Frank’s Saining, Roberto bequeathed an old scarf and his pair of sunglasses to him.
- The scarf that Roberto gave Frank was in fact a Treasure that had been passed down from father to son for generations, the family ignorant of its true nature.
