Where's Wally?

It's raining in Caerodale and Tillie Devine has a job. Jori shows and I vouch for Hurmir and Harry. Kate Leigh, curse her, has something of interest to the Boss. An empty book - a name written in it is as good as dead.
 
We concoct our scheme. Hurmir cracks a keg of his brew and drums up commotion in the street. Harry poses as a purchaser of the artifact with Jori as his Mastiff mount. All too quickly shit goes tits up. The brute wants Harry to follow, betraying no intention of turning over the artifact for the gold we haven't brought. The horse and wagon prove useful and we slaughter the goons to a man.
 
From the warehouse roof Hurmir spots beaked brains with tentacles, porters carrying crates from an extra-dimensional corner, the book we're after, and my nemesis: Wally Tomlinson. "The Wolf" and Kate's right-hand man. We form a plan. Jori rains fire from above. Hurmir collects the book while invisible. Harry and I engage the main forces. He blinds Wally leaving him wide open to my glaive. The fireballs wreck the wolves before Jori gets tangled with the grells. It's messy, but we make it out with what we came for.
 
The book, a journal, Kate's warehouse up in flames, a rumor she hides a portal to the demon realm, and Wally Tomlinson's head. Where's Wally? Here he is. Leave it to Cassius, Boss. He'll see it done.
