Driven by a deep sense of justice, she began using her performances to subtly criticize the oppressive government of Whiskerwind. Her songs resonated with the oppressed but also painted a target on her back. Eventually, her activism led to dire threats against her life, forcing her to flee under the cover of night when the government dispatched assassins to silence her voice permanently.
 
Life in Veloria and Descent: In Veloria, seeking anonymity and safety, Whiskers hoped to escape her past. However, she was quickly drawn into the city's underbelly. Her involvement in illicit catnip dens and underground gambling led to accumulating debts with The Hive Haven, a notorious gang with its own cadre of ruthless enforcers. As her debts grew, so did her notoriety, reviving her fears as Hive Haven's threats began to echo those she faced in Whiskerwind.
