Cat Longtooth is an adventurer and mercenary who was originally born in the city of Talanas but has since migrated to the southeastern corner of the land by the same name. She is active in the Tormvald Plateau region, particularly in and around Orst Aerie.

Cat's Story

Long before she was born, Cat-thryn Longtooth's clan wandered away from their homes in the Crescent, curious to see the world. Thusly, she has no recollection of her people's ancestral homeland. Indeed, Cat is a rarity amongst her kind in that she was born somewhere other than the archipelago all fehlar call home. Instead, she was born and raised in the city of Talanas.
 
Cat spent much of her childhood as a street urchin, her ancestral curiosity compelling her to learn every corner and alley of the "City of the Dragon Men". Before her adolescence even began, though, another conflict disrupted her life once again.
 
When the heavy fighting of the War of the Night King broke out in 14 CA, Cat's father Squall followed his own natural curiosity and went off to fight with the Army of the Talans. When he returned mostly unharmed, he brought with him something unexpected; a sudden desire to return to the Crescent. Most of his clansmen, including his mate, agreed to join him but Cat did not. Despite her very young age, she felt the pull to learn more about the wider world much more strongly than that of her ancestral home.
 
With her parents' blessing, Cat set out for the eastern lands of Talanas at the same time her clanfolk boarded a sailing ship bound for home; in the spring of CA 18. Cat-thryn spent the next three years wandering lands east of the City where she grew up, even past the Central Barrier. It was there, on the Tormvald Plateau, that she ultimately settled to look for her next adventure.

Cat's Description and Mannerisms

Cat's still in her teens and probably still growing so her petite frame of 5-foot even is likely temporary. Still, she will never be tall and that works to her advantage. Cat's at her best getting into and out of tight spaces and sneaking about to get the drop of her quarry, whether it be in battle or otherwise. While she may be short in stature, she's quite physically stout though, and can hold her own when physical rigours go beyond moving around undetected.
 
During crisis times, Cat's preference to keep some distance between herself and the heaviest fighting is logical. Still, she can and often does step into melee to get the jump on enemies who are otherwise occupied with the brawlers in her company.
