A freedomfighter dedicated to ensuring the gods never tread on the material plane. Aspiring to liberate all slaves and save all that are faced with religious/racial persecution, in hopes that all may shape their own destiny.
Constantine was indoctrinated into a crime organisation known as the Wretched at age 4 after the people he believed to be his parents were murdered by members of the gang's leaders. He served as a mercenary for them in the Imperial province of Thorel until the age of 18, where he discovered that the Wretched was merely a cover for a devil worshipping cult, the Emissaries of The Banished, who intended to pave a way for the king of devils, Asmodeus, to return to the material plane to finish the war against The Creators. After escaping the cult with his mentor Ozyax, Constantine travelled and continued his training and education as a warrior, cementing his mindset as a freedom fighter before being separated from Ozyax in a battle with Cronus in Kyligtera in 648CY. Since then, Constantine has roamed the Empire battling his own fear and morals to attain the strength he needs to find his mentor and end Cronus's campaign to free Asmodeus.

Appearance
Physical Description
Constantine is a tall and very muscular person. He is broad with a large frame however, he is missing his left leg below the knee, which has been replaced by a steel prosthetic containing a propulsion device that creates shock waves on the ground.
Body Features
As a long-time adventurer and warrior, Constantine's body is riddled with scars and burns. However, some of these are masked with tattoos. Rusty chains with flowers blossoming from the joints are tattooed onto his arms, which rise up to his shoulders before becoming tree branches with buds on his pectoral regions, whilst the tattoo extending to his shoulder blades shows withering branches. On his left pectoral, above his heart, a blue marking symbolises Constantine's return from death.
Facial Features
Constantine posesses quite a marvelous beard that is frayed at the ends since he rarely has the time to groom himself. His left eye is missing, and as such the socket is covered by an eyepatch. He wears beads around his head that were given to him by a child he saved in Vild'Thorel during his time with the Wretched, and gold ear-studs that were gifted to him by his close friend Veskle Riverbeam. A red horn protrudes from the upper right of his forehead due to the remains of a demon becoming locked within his soul.
Identifying Characteristics
The most obvious features are his horn that protrudes from his forehead, his eye patch, and his beard. Though when he first enters a room possibly the most obvious thing is the giant sword and axe he carries on him.
Apparel & Accessories

He then wears a breastplate of Bahamut which is woven with other small pieces together that is held with chainmail. He also makes use of a utility belt which holds his crossbow and small tools as well as the day's rations for whenever he is hungry, which is quite often.
On top of his armour, Constantine wears a large, fluffy brown coat that has pockets woven into the interior for extra storage and chainmail woven into it, wrist and shoulder armour pieces are placed over the coat to protect him in a guarding stance.
Special abilities
As a rune knight, Constantine can invoke runes using demonic magic to boost his own abilities and defend his fellow party members. He can buff his own physical attributes, increase his size and manipulate people around him in combat. The runes are inscripted onto various items that must be on Constantine's person to be in effect, however to unleash some runes he must invoke them in abyssal.

Mental Trauma
Thanks to an upbringing of violence and black-white viewpoints, Constantine's morals are skewed compared to the average person, and is hyper-focused on freedom beyond all else. Additionally he is terrified of Lord Cronus, the leader of the Emissaries of The Banished, as he is the most powerful being Constantine has ever seen.
After facing death, Constantine has suffered visions of the afterlife and seen only the void along with the ice-cold grasps of the Abyss, as such he is even more focused on survival than ever before. This dread is worsened by the voices of the demon residing in his mind after the failed second invasion of his body, occuring simulateously with the demon's death.
Intellectual Characteristics
Constantine is a masterful tactician, and generally takes the role of leader in most combat and diplomatic situations.
Morality & Philosophy
Constantine's philosophy is that all sentient beings should have the freedom to shape their own destiny, and that the gods only part in that should be helping mortals to achieve them in exchange for worship. In general Constantine tries to preserve lives rather than end them, but is comfortable with taking them when necessary.

Savvies & Ineptitudes
Constantine does not deal well with depth perception after losing his left eye, he usually needs to leave the scouting to Astariah.
