I write this passage such that I am remembered past my death.
My name is Ciranor in the common tongue though many call me “The Anvil”. My purpose in this world has been known to me for many centuries and I have strived to fulfill it ever since. Listen to my words for I shall not repeat them.
 
We are all born into this world, lands flourishing with life, some of it dies, others prosper. There is always a balance: one creature dies so future ones may rise. But there are those that wish to tip the scales. These individuals may be misguided or malevolent; it matters not what tale led to their choice. They know not the effects of their meddling or exploits. I strive to retain this balance and show others why this is so. I will not hesitate nor be stopped to correct the scales. Know this, becoming an enemy of nature is foolish and will lead to your demise. Treasure your chance in this world for it comes only once, find your purpose.

Physical Traits

The anvil stands at 32 ft tall weighing 80 tons is on the smaller side for the typical ancient dragon. It is hard to tell at first glance exactly what kind of dragon the anvil is as they appear to have stood in a forest for hundreds of years with the amount of vines, leaves, and branches that seem to surround them. But on closer inspection between the foliage the anvil’s scales appear metallic but pitted, and covered in rust. The piercing green eyes of The anvil never waver and seem to look into the very soul of those that stand before him judging their character and ideals.
