Landfall
I have made landfall in Bacroan. I write currently in a room at an inn in the city of Voklawa. I miss the familiarity of Samuel's home already, but that is why I need to work to make more of the world familiar to me. I spoke with some of the sailors on Marcus' ship, they seemed to know I was a friend of a friend to the captain, and treated me well despite their discomfort, for which I am grateful. They told me some of the history of this nation, Bacroan, not so long ago it was ruled by a dynasty of aristocrats, or, wealthy citizens, who ruled for their own interests, but it seems the nearby Dwarven Ghwaretz, Krosarum, overthrew that family some one hundred years ago. This seemed like an unbelieveably long time to me at first, but apparently there are plentiful Norns in Elloryd who still recall the uncertainty of that war. I should really try to stop being so shocked by the longevity of the world, after all, I've come to realise I am something of an outlier among most people.
I was told that under the custodianship of Krosarum, Bacroan has prospered, and upon laying eyes on Voklawa I have no choice but to agree. The port I had left was a bustling town, ringed in palisade and constructed of modest hardwood with the odd metal or mechanical artifice. By contrast, the first I could see of Voklawa were it's towering stone citadels guarding the harbour, vast edifice, pocked with cannon and ballistae, with tiered layers and towers piercing the sky farther than even the masts of the moored galleon and battleships that sat in the open harbour. The city itself is vast, easily six times the area of the port I left, and constructed of both stone and wood. The sailors told me Voklawa grows from its trade in dwarven alcohol and tools, which both are produced further inland and shipped across the world from this and a few other ports. Overall, the city has left me feeling somewhat overwhelmed, I know if I allow myself, I could quite possibly spend years here but I must remember this is just my first step, from here I want to travel south in to a nation called Osdraemos. The path I will take does pass by the Ghwaretz of Krosarum itself, but I have heard it is all but impossible for an outsider to enter the hold itself, so one as suspicious as myself probably stands little chance.
Speaking of myself, I have found it a little easier to traverse this city unregarded, something about the sheer volume of souls in this place leads many bystanders to not give me a second glance as I walk about. I can almost see it in the spirit of those I observed on the way here, something about it seemed almost sluggish, or murky, or perhaps muted? It's not something I have an easy time describing in words it would seem. In any case, I found an inn easily enough, I could tell the innkeep was suspicious of me, but she sold me the room anyway, so I can only hope I don't cause her any trouble during my stay.

Religious Views
Leander dosen't place much emphasis on Gods, as their ability to see spirit and soul in people has done much to turn the machinations of the Gods into mundanities of life. To them, divinity is simply an extension of what is natural, no more special than a forest or a sea.
Social Aptitude
Leander's off-putting appearance and perception of spirit has caused a few roadblocks in their development of social skills, as such, they are not particularly well-versed in conversation.
Mannerisms
Leander can sometimes get distracted, much like a child does, mid though or conversation. They often fiddle with and adjust their gloves while idle and often speak very quietly
