Deadly Changeling assassin that uses his abilities to deceive targets

Nix is a changeling who lost both of his parents at a very young age. His father Dox was a changeling whereas his mother Faema was a human. He inherited all of his physical traits from his father except his mothers bright blue eyes. Despite being able to change his form he has never been able to change the color of his eyes. As a boy he wandered around, alone and confused. He was constantly changing into different forms or "masks" trying to survive.
 
One day, he encountered a human bounty hunter by the name of Azraphael. Azraphael realized the potential a changeling could have in a guild of bounty hunters so he started to train him. Over the years he became very skilled with his daggers and a crossbow, becoming a formidable hunter. It was then, Azraphael started to take him to collect high bounty marks. Azraphael told Nix that they were to set out to capture a mighty beast that had been ravaging the nearby towns. The two met up with some close associates of Aziraphaels, they were two men known as Rayvox and Naster. Nix wasn't particularly fond of these two, as they had been known to take advantage of helpless creatures.
 
As they had almost arrived Nix overheard the three talking.
[Rayvox] Been a while since we've taken down one of these.
[Naster] Yea, its been several years. These things are so stupid and so much fun to kill
{Cackles} I can't wait to get the horns off this one too.
[Aziraphael] I can't believe these disgusting creatures are still around. We shall mount its
head on the wall as a trophy for the guild!
[Naster] Yes, yes, this will be the easiest bounty we've ever collected!
[Rayvox] I'm gunna take its hide and make me a nice fur coat. Bahahaha!
[Aziraphael] And to think, all we had to do was cause a little ruckus and blame it on this
creature.
[Nastor] These idiots are so gullible
 
Nix was never fond of those two, and this interaction didn't help that in the slightest. To find out his master is making false contracts for his own profit, Nix was starting to see his master in a new light.
 
They arrived at the town and began to search for this creature when Nastor shouted "Hey! Over here!" The other three rush over but Nix did not see a beast or a terrifying creature. He stood there in front of a minotaur who had looked ragged and run down, like he has never had a place where he feels welcome. The minotaur looked terrified of the 4 men and was backed up against a tree with nowhere to go. Nastor, Aziraphael, and Rayvox lunged at the minotaur and started attacking it. Beating it down to the ground, but he did not fight back. Nix looked on in terror as he watched his master and these two scoundrels beat the life out of this innocent creature. Nastor and Rayvox then drew knives from their hilts and spoke as such:
 
[Nastor] I'm going to hang this one right on my mantle!
 
[Rayvox] I'm going to drink the finest mead out of these!
 
Just as they were about to cut the horns from the bloodied and beaten minotaur a blade, a blade pierced right through the backs of both of the men. As they choked on their own blood for a moment they dropped to the ground no longer moving. They were dead. Aziraphael looked up in shock as he saw his apprentice Nix wielding both of his daggers, covered in the blood of his companions. Although, something was different about Nix. He could sense a rage coming off of him that he had never felt before. The one thing that terrified him the most about his young apprentice, his bright blue eyes that became his signature look of innocence to help him on different mission, were now blood red and full of anger.
 
Azirapahel was at a loss for words. All he could muster up was "Nix...." and immediately after Nix charged after him with such speed that Aziraphael didn't even have a chance to ready his blade. Nix dashed straight towards him and dug both his daggers into his gut. He laid his master down as he was choking on his own blood before finally taking that final breathe. Nix sheathed his blades and turned towards the minotaur. He looked on with great terror yet relief that those men would no longer hurt him, but did not know what to think of this shadowy figure. As the man started walking towards him he could see his eyes change from the crimson red to a bright warm blue. He could feel a sense of warmth when looking into those eyes as if he knew everything was going to be ok. As the man approached him he stuck his hand out and said with a smile.
 
"Hey, I'm Nix"
 
The bond that was created that day was one that was bound to never break.
